Pre-teen jungle boy Mowgli gets to human world and is pursued by P.T.Barnum circus scout Harrison who wants to take him to circus as curiosity. Harrison hires local grandee Buldeo for help in tracking Mowgli down. It turns out to be that Mowgli is Buldeo's nephew, and the only obstacle for him to take his late brother's rich estate.
''The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli and Baloo provides examples of:
- Big Damn Heroes: Just as Buldeo is about to shoot Mowgli, Bagheera and Baloo scare him off.
- Happily Adopted: Mowgli was raised by wolves and happy living with them. When Harrison offers to raise him, he declines, choosing his wolf family.
- Oh, Crap!: Buldeo has this reaction when he's about to be launch out of a cannon, and again when he’s stuck dangling from a tree and Shere Khan arrives. His final fate is left ambiguous as he’s too high for Shere Khan to reach but the vicious tiger clearly has no plans to leave him be.
- Rump Roast: Chuchundra accidentally gets his butt on fire when he accidentally sits on the fire.
