The Great Fight is a 2011 film written by Ken Del Vecchio and directed by Sherri Kauk.

Officer Nick Tantino (Frank Giglio), who is working at a high school, meets seventeen-year-old Anthony Rodriguez (Miguel Jarquin-Moreland), an autistic boy with a history of violence. Tantino thinks that Anthony's skills could be channeled constructively, and starts training him in mixed martial arts.

The Great Fight contains examples of:

  • Hollywood Autism: One of Anthony's "savant skills" is an "innate understanding" of Spanish, a language he's barely been exposed to and yet understands better than English.
  • Promotion to Parent: Anthony's older sister Cassie (Suzy Kaye), a lawyer, has been his legal guardian ever since their grandmother died.
  • Sexy Shirt Switch: Tantino's ex-wife Jill (Angela Little) has sex with his rival Zane Carroll (Eric Etebari). Afterwards, she wears his shirt and tie.
  • Sperm as People: One character tells a joke about three guys bragging about their memories. The first character says he remembers having his diaper changed. The second says he remembers being born. The third says he remembers going to a party with his father, and going home with his mother.
  • Thug Dojo: Carroll encourages his students to fight dirty and beats them for underperforming.
  • Title In: The film opens with the beginning of Anthony's fight with Felix. The next scene opens with "Six months earlier."
