A 1988 Canadian Horror Thriller directed by David Wellington that has a couple (Lynne Adams and Pierre Lenoir) hiring a crew, including a mysterious man (Wings Hauser), to fix up their place only for it to be revealed the man is an executed killer returning to finish his dream home.

The movie also stars Barbara Ann Jones, Louise-Marie Mennier, Johnny Cuthbert, Robert Austern, Anthony Ulc, and Ron Lea.

It was released on August 27, 1988.

  • Alliterative Name: Jonah "J.J." Johnston.
  • Burn the Undead: It turns out damaging the house causes the ghostly and homicidal carpenter pain. So, the film ends with Alice and Martin burning the place down, causing the carpenter to burst into flames, and burn away to nothingness.
  • Nail 'Em: A rat and a woman are killed with a nail gun while a man is shot in the eyes with a staple gun.
  • Synchronization: The ghostly carpenter is pained whenever his house is damaged. He's vanquished when the place is set on fire, which causes him to burst into flames.
