A 1998 American sci-fi buddy comedy directed by Penelope Spheeris that has a college student (Marlon Wayans) using an experimental drug to heighten his senses but then things start to go wrong.
The movie also stars David Spade, Matthew Lillard, Brad Dourif, Tamara Taylor, Rip Torn, Esther Scott, and Richard McGonagle.

- Bits of Me Keep Passing Out: Most of the laughs are the result of Darryl's senses either going into hyperdrive or completely shutting off, leaving him with things like floppy limbs and inability to speak properly.
- Double-Meaning Title: The title is kind of ironic, as the movie is about a man who volunteers to take an experimental Super-Senses drug. When he accidentally exceeds the recommended dose, 4 of his 5 senses are heightened while one of them is suppressed.
- Mistaken for Junkie: Darryl is using an experimental drug to enhance his senses to superhuman levels (in order to both get the girl and win a coveted business internship). His roommate walks in on him after he's given himself an injection, sees the needle, and (based on this and Darryl's erratic behavior) assumes that he's gotten hooked on heroin. Eventually, Darryl explains what is really going on to his roommate, but it's not really clear if he really believes him; during the big confession scene during the climax, Darryl reveals that he's been using a drug to get an advantage in the competition for the internship, upon which the roommate interrupts him to announce that "It's NOT heroin!".
- One-Word Title: Senseless.
- Shot to the Heart: Almost done when Tim thinks Darryl might be ODing on heroin. (He's not.) Still doesn't make sense; if Tim's far enough in his studies, he should know it won't work. If he's not that far, then he shouldn't be trying.
