Released on November 2, 2023 Señora influencer is psychological horror Mexican film. It was written and directed by Carlos Santos and starred by Monica Huarte.

The film follows Fátima Ferreira, a well-off middle-aged woman, who is a volunteer teacher at an all-girls school and lives with her negligient father. One day while trying to defend a student from bullying she ends up slapping the bully. This makes her lose her job. In her search for purpose and due to external influences she ends up discovering social media. This is only the beginning of her descent into madness.

Señora Influencer contains examples of:

  • Age-Stereotypical Food: In order to emphasize her childish nature, Fatima is shown constantly eating desserts.

  • Even Evil Has Standards: Fatima has no problem in kidnapping and torturing her haters but when it comes to her therapist Jackie (who even goes as far as threatening to sue her for plagiarism and calls her mentally unstable), Fatima lets her go without hurting her, knowing she has a child to take care of.
  • Freudian Excuse: Since a young age, Fatima displayed some mental challenges and her condition is the reason her parents are always arguing about her. She ends up killing her mother by accident in a car crash and is left so traumatized by the event that she develops some kind of amnesia so her dad covers her up by telling everybody (including Fatima) that her mother commited suicide
  • Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: Sofi and Cami are shown constantly vaping as a way to make them seem as modern and as keeping up with the times.
  • Internet Jerk: Fatima acquires a great number of online haters.
  • Karma Houdini: Fatima manages to scape the fire she initiated and is left for dead, gaining way more popularity than before to the point of becoming a martyr to some. She ends up living happily in Argentina by stealing Jackie's passport and hijiking her identity. Camila also counts, as she becomes more popular than ever since she is considered the only "influencer" who survives the events of the movie, never having to pay for some of her misdeeds or the way she used Fatima
