Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: I Love Wolffy (喜羊羊与灰太狼之我爱灰太狼) is a spin-off film of the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf movies, being a hybrid live-action/animation film. It premiered on August 10, 2012.

Wolffy, Wolnie, Paddi, and Wilie are all sent to the real world against their will when a large shovel picks him and his family up. It also turns Wolffy, Wolnie, and Paddi into humans, and Wilie into a dog. With Mr. Slowy's help, Wolffy fights against Pi Zong, who loves animal skins, and save his son Wilie.

It has a sequel, Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: I Love Wolffy 2, which debuted in theaters in 2013. The next overall film, The Mythical Ark: Adventures in Love & Happiness, premiered earlier in 2013.

Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: I Love Wolffy contains the following tropes:

  • Brought to You by the Letter "S": Pi Zong has the Chinese character "皮" ("pi") in the middle of his superhero outfit.
  • Chased Off into the Sunset: Right before the end credits, Wolffy chases Paddi off into the distance.
  • Covered in Kisses: When Wolnie reunites with Wilie at the end, she gives him a bunch of kisses on the head, those kisses being visible when he turns around.
  • Covers Always Lie: Well, perhaps not lie, but the posters for the film don't do a good job showing that there's a live-action element to the film.
  • Gratuitous English: The first thing said by Pi Zong to the people looking at Wolffy's castle after it lands in the human world is "早上好" ("Zaosheng hao", "Good morning" in Chinese), then at the suggestion of his assistant, "Ladies and gentlemen" in English, followed by "Konichiwa, simida!" (Japanese for "Hello, and thank you!").
  • No, You: Paddi says "Disgusting!" when he sees Wolffy massaging Wolnie's feet, and Wolnie tells him "You're disgusting! This is called affection. What do you know?"
  • Robot Antennae: The Bye-Bye Machine has two antennae sticking out from the sides of its head.
  • Shout-Out:
    • A character is shown playing a Nintendo DS, which has New Super Mario Bros. in it. The Nintendo DS is used by Mr. Slowy and Wolnie to communicate with the real-life world.
    • Pi Zong wears a blue-and-red outfit which is meant to be Superman's.
  • Single-Task Robot: The Bye-Bye Machine, when triggered by the word "inexplicable", raises its hand, says "Bye-bye!", and teleports whatever is in front of it to a random place.
  • Trapped in Another World:
    • Wolffy, Wolnie, and Paddi are trapped in real life and must seek Wolffy's Bye-Bye Machine to return.
    • At the end, Pi Zong is sent to Jupiter by the Bye-Bye machine and is visibly not happy about it.
  • Voices Are Mental: Weslie controlling Pi Zong via a device attached to his head is a plot point. While he's under his command, Pi Zong speaks using Weslie's voice.
