Nite Tales: The Movie is a 2008 horror anthology film that includes two stories: "Karma" and "Storm". It was written by Diana Erwin and Deon Taylor. The film is hosted by rapper Flavor Flav, and stars Sticky Fingaz, Dante Basco, and Tony Todd.

In "Karma", a gang of bank robbers who get more than they bargained for when their car breaks down near a remote farmhouse. "Storm" follows a group of students whose night of partying takes a dark turn as they play a game of Bloody Mary.

  • Agony of the Feet: In "Karma", the leader of the Cannibal Clan shatters Dice's ankle with a sledgehammer before subjecting hom to Unwilling Suspension.
  • Bank Robbery: "Karma" opens with four young thieves robbing a small-town bank and leaving several bodies in their wake.
  • Cannibal Clan: In "Karma", the bank robbers fall into the clutches of a hillbilly family of cannibals.
  • Cell Phones Are Useless: In "Storm", after the storm knocks out the phone lines, the students find that their cell phones aren't working either.
  • Colliding Criminal Conspiracies: In "Karma", a bunch of bank robbers accidentally run into a Cannibal Clan during their getaway. Even more unfortunately/karmic, the cannibal clan are family of the guard the robbers killed during their heist and thus they have even less of a desire to keep them alive than usual.
  • Cover Identity Anomaly: In "Storm", the fake cop—who has already made several errors in evidence handling—says that there is an "ABP" out for James, who actually is an undercover cop points out that the term is "APB", as it stands for All Points Bulletin.
  • Creepy Souvenir: In "Karma", Jim Bob has photos of body parts stuck up on the wall, which really should have clued the robbers in that something was not right at the farm where they had stopped to steal a vehicle.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: In "Karma", Mr. Hinkley, the patriarch of the Cannibal Clan, reveals to the robbers that the guard they killed during the Bank Robbery was his brother.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: In "Karma", Mr. Hinkley, the patriarch of the Cannibal Clan, cannot abide thieves and liars. And the bank robbers who have just fallen into his clutches are both.
  • Faking the Dead: In "Karma", Dice orders one of his henchmen to murder another of the bank robbers who is wounded and slowing them down (and who is the first henchman's cousin). Unable to do it, the henchman fires a couple of shots into the ground by his cousin's head to convince Dice he is dead.
  • Guns Akimbo: In "Karma", Dice bursts into the bank wielding a gun in each hand and immediately starts using them.
  • Hillbilly Horrors: In "Karma", the bank robbers find themselves trapped in a remote farmhouse by a Cannibal Clan of farmers who don't like outsiders who steal from and murder locals.
  • Horror Host: Flavor Flav plays this role.
  • A House Divided: In "Karma", the patriarch of the Cannibal Clan tells the captured bank robbers that he will release one of them and allow them to live, but they have to decide amongst themselves which one it will be. He then leaves them alone to decide. The robbers immediately fall into arguing among themselves—each arguing that they should be the one to live—and make no decision, so they all die.
  • Impersonating an Officer: In "Storm", Tom gets a phone call warning him about a psycho on the loose who impersonates a police officer (amongst other hings, including a clown. [[He turns out to be the cop in the house, and the same cop who stopped the last surviving bank robber in "Karma".
  • It Works Better with Bullets: In "Storm", James dares the cop to shoot him, knowing that the gun he is carrying is a fake.
  • Man Bites Man: In "Karma", Mr. Hinkley takes a bite out of Dice's neck.
  • Mirror Monster: "Storm" follows a group of students whose night of partying takes a dark turn as they play a game of Bloody Mary.
  • Monster Clown: Scary Black Man Tony Todd pays a terrifying clown named James who turns up out of the storm asking to use the phone. Later, Tom receives a phone call which warns him of a psycho on the loose who impersonates, amongst other things, a clown and a cop. Ultimately subverted when James turns out to be an undercover cop who his hunting the fake cop.
  • My Car Hates Me: In "Karma", the bank robbers car breaks down in the countryside, leading them into the clutches of the Cannibal Clan.
  • Slashed Throat: How all of Bloody Mary's victims are killed in "Storm".
  • Undercover Cop Reveal: In "Storm", James the Monster Clown turns out to actually be a undercover detective tailing the fake cop.
  • Unwilling Suspension: In "Karma", the Cannibal Clan string the bank robbers up in the basement before eating them alive.
