In a world where vampires and humans have coexisted by feeding only on those who consent, two girls hire Benny (Jorge Lendeborg, Jr.), an aspiring musician who is covering for his freelance driver brother, to drive them to several L.A. nightclubs.
Benny is unaware that 1) his clients, Blaire (Debby Ryan) and Zoe (Lucy Fry), are vampires; and 2) Jay, his brother, belongs to a human council tasked to keep the peace between both groups. Bored with his life, wealthy and powerful vampire Victor (Alfie Allen) kidnaps Jay's girlfriend in order to break the peace between vampires and humans.
Soon The Coup against the local vampire lords is underway and Benny is caught between the vampires who are employing him, the vampires they're at war with, and the hunters after both.
