Mossad! is a 2019 Israeli movie, serving as a much higher-budget reboot of 2007's Ha Mossad Ha Sagur.

While visiting Jerusalem, American smartphone mogul Jack Sattelberg is kidnapped by terrorists from Sujirya, the third-world country where his sweatshops are located. Guy Moran, a discharged Mossad agent, sees this as an opportunity to get back into action. The CIA, however, sends their own agent, Linda Harris, to deal with Sattelberg's kidnapping, instead of letting the Mossad handle it. If Moran and Harris will fail in their mission, the Mossad's Chief won't be able to fulfill his life's desire of lighting a torch in the Independence Day torch-lighting ceremony.

The film shows examples of these Tropes:

  • Action Prologue: In true Bond tradition, Mossad! opens with one: Aaron and Guy are rescuing their commander, Shuki, from captivity in Tunisia.
  • Affectionate Parody: Of the Israeli Mossad. And spy movies in general.
  • America Saves the Day: Enforced by Arnold, who tells Agent Harris that the CIA can't let Israel save the day.
  • Call-Back: To the original movie:
    • Much like Caroline in the original, Sharon Sattelberg is actually a Sujiryan mole called Mujidra.
    • The Mossad Chief is called Haim.
    • The movie revolves around terrorists from a Qurac called Sujirya kidnapping an American VIP.
