Mahou Sentai Magiranger vs. Dekaranger is a 2006 direct-to-video movie which depicts a crossover between Mahou Sentai Magiranger and Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, part of the annual Super Sentai "Vs. Series". It was released direct-to-video on March 10, 2006.
This movie contains examples of the following tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: By comparison. The average team-up movie ends with both teams having fun together or outright throwing a party. This one ends with a sad music box tune, and the various characters reflecting on Miyuki and offering the audience the flower of happiness.
- Breaking Old Trends: The film has the giant battle happen first, followed by a climatic ground-level fight, inverting the up-to-this point unbroken formula of Vs. movies.
- Canon Immigrant: The S.P.D. Battlizer, which originated in Power Rangers S.P.D..

- Continuity Snarl: The events of the film seems to take place in a different continuity from the Magiranger show, as its placement could only be between episode 32 and 33(when the Magirangers obtained Magi Legend), which doesn't make sense because Wolzard is using magic without issues in the film, when he previously gave up his magic after giving his WolzaPhone to Vancuria, and it can't take place after he recovers his magic because of Sorcery Priest Meemy's death in episode 34 and he is still alive in this crossover.
- Disguised in Drag: To rescue Urara and Jasmine from the Alienizer Algolian Baurbon, Hikaru and Tetsu disguise themselves as female cousins of the Ozu family. Naturally, Algolian falls in love with them and considers them his ideal women, at least until he accidentally pulls off their wigs.
- In the Name of the Moon: For the Vs. movie, both teams give their roll call in succession.
