Love Crime (Crime d'Amour) is a 2010 French film directed by Alain Corneau and starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier. It tells the story of Christine, a cruel advertising executive who engages in a rapidly-escalating war of attrition with Isabelle, her ambitious subordinate.

This film later received an American remake by Brian De Palma, called Passion.

This film contains examples of:

  • Alpha Bitch: Christine runs her branch of the advertising firm with an iron fist.
  • Asshole Victim: By the time Isabelle kills her, Christine has tried to steal credit for Isabelle's work, publically humiliated her, falsely accused her of threatening her life (and used this false threat to keep her from publically complaining about the aforementioned humiliation), and blackmailed Philippe into dumping her. Needless to say, it's hard to feel any sympathy for Christine.
  • Bad Boss: Christine cheerfully steals credit for Isabelle's work and publically humiliates her when she complains about it. She also allows Philippe to skim money from the company while he is sleeping with her, only to turn around and offer him up as a scapegoat when he starts sleeping with Isabelle.
