Horrorvision is a Sci-Fi Horror Movie by Danny Draven.

Dez (Len Cordova) is a programmer who lives with his girlfriend Dazzy (Maggie Rose Fleck) and works with a woman named Toni (Brinke Stevens) to provide the internet with pornography. Of course, Dez also uses this work as an excuse to avoid working on his pilot. After Toni turns up missing one day, Dez takes what was on her computer and he and Dazzy go home, where Dazzy convinces Dez to finally finish his pilot.

However, when the images from a file called "Horrorvision" end up sucking Dazzy into the computer screen, Dez's life takes a sharp turn into something bizarre.

The movie was released on January 9th, 2001.

Horrorvision contains examples of:

  • Blood from the Mouth: In one of the pictures Dez gets off Toni's computer, a woman has fake blood coming out of her mouth.
  • Body Horror: The Cyborg overseeing Horrorvision's original computers is missing the lower half of his body, has several diodes sticking out of his head, and has pale white skin with black veins all over it.
  • Catapult Nightmare: Dez does this late in the movie, creating a Hope Spot that the events of the movie were All Just a Dream... only for him to wake up back in Bradbury's car.
  • Creepy Child: On their way to Toni's apartment, Dez and Dazzy see a kid with sunken eyes sitting in a corner of the hallway holding a computer motherboard.
  • Cyborg: In the building Horrorvision originated from, we find the top half of a human being with a bunch of diodes in his head, who's been overseeing the original computers and downloading people onto CD-ROMs.
  • Deliberately Monochrome: The Flashbacks to earlier in the movie when Dazzy was with Dez are shown in black and white.
  • Good Morning, Crono: Dez is woken up by his girlfriend at the beginning of the movie. She first tries to talk him awake, then she smacks him in the butt when that doesn't work.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: The Cyborg overseeing Horrorvision's original computers has the lower half of his body missing.
  • Hope Spot: Dez awakens from a Catapult Nightmare in his bed with Dazzy, giving him hope that she isn't dead, and everything with Horrorvision didn't happen... then Dez wakes up again in Bradbury's car.
  • Mechanical Monster: A little centipede-rat-like robot occasionally warps to Dez's location from any nearby screens, or even Dez's watch, to attack him.
  • No Ending: The movie ends with Dez wandering out into the desert to gather everyone else on Bradbury's list of people who are immune to Horrorvision.
  • One-Word Title: Horrorvision, naturally.
  • Shock and Awe: The Cyborg sends a bolt of lightening at the guy who came with Dez and Bradbury, sending him flying across the room.
  • Shout-Out: When Dez is picking the lock to Toni's apartment, Dazzy says he's like "fucking MacGyver".
