Blood Ransom is a Paranormal Romance Thriller by Francis Dela Torre.

Crystal (Anne Curtis) is a young woman who's been infected with vampirism by Roman (Samuel Hunt), and will turn within a week. However, what muddies Roman's plans is that she's in love with Jeremiah Rose (Alexander Derymon), Roman's limo driver. One night, Jeremiah frees Crystal from captivity, and the two run away together.

Naturally, Roman isn't happy with this, so he sends a hitman named Bill (Jamie Harris) to track the two down. Now Crystal must face a choise: kill the man she loves to live forever, or find a way to cure her vampirism so that they can be together.

The film was released on October 31st, 2014.

Blood Ransom contains examples of:

  • Aerith and Bob: Crystal, Jeremiah and Roman are all real but moderately unusual names. Bill is one of the plainest English names there is.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Bill kills two goons who failed Roman, a bartender, and one other person in this manner.
  • Crowbar Combatant: Daniel knocks Crystal out after invading her house with a crowbar.
  • Fortune Teller: Jeremiah and Crystal visit one to find a cure for Crystal's vampirism.
  • Handguns: Expect to see these aplenty in the movie.
  • The Hero Dies: Jeremiah is shot to death by Daniel.
  • In the Hood: Crystal is attacked in her house by two men in black hoodies and masks. One of them is revealed to be Daniel.
  • My Car Hates Me: When Jeremiah and Crystal try to escape Bill, the car doesn't start until Bill breaks one of the windows.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Crystal's eyes start turning red on control later in the movie as her transformation gets closer along to completion.
  • Slashed Throat: Mr. Manningham gets his throat slit at the start of the movie, with blood coming out of the side of his neck.
  • Smash to Black: Happens when Jeremiah is about to attack Roman.
  • Tainted Veins: Sometimes Crystal's veins change colour, indicating the vampirism's progression.
