Ah Girls Go Army Again is a 2022 Singaporean Dramedy film, which is a spinoff of the Ah Boys to Men movies and a sequel to Ah Girls Go Army. The movie was released in Southeast Asia in June 2022.

The movie follows the journey of the all-female Bravo Company during their national service training. Can they succeed and defy their critics that females are unfit for conscription?

Like the previous movie, it too was met with criticism from critics and Singaporean Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) officials.

Ah Girls Go Army Again contains examples of:

  • Artistic License – Military: The Singaporean military is seen with MARPAT- like digital camo instead of the all-green No. 4 camos. The pins on the berets are also different. This is due to the lack of cooperation from MINDEF.
  • Bait-and-Switch: The Bravo Company soldiers standing at attention with a black and white cinematography, suggesting that something bad happened. It later switches to all colors with the soldiers attending a graduation ceremony.
  • Bilingual Dialogue: Like the Ah Boys to Men movie, you'll hear a mix of Chinese and English in dialogue.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The medical training Bravo Company was in was put to good use after Sergeant Chow was stabbed that the girls evacuated him to safety using a fireman's lift.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: The hardships and the problems Bravo Company faced eventually led them to complete their national service months after Sergeant Chow was evacced safely for medical attention.
  • Jungle Warfare: Bravo Company is tasked to fight OPFOR soldiers in the Singaporean forests as part of their training.
  • Market-Based Title: The show's title in Mandarin is 女兵外传2 (Simplified Chinese) or 女兵外傳2 (Traditional Chinese). They both mean Female Soldiers' Biography 2 in English.
  • Mood Whiplash: The movie's Dramedy aspects goes dark when some of the Bravo Company soldier confront hardened criminals trying to sneak through the training site in order to escape Singaporean soldiers by stealing their SAR-21 rifles. One of them stabs BC's officers that he was bleeding out.
