- Captain's Log: Pretty much what Achmed does while writing his story in his diary. It also happens again at the end of the movie.
- Chekhov's Gun: Wayne Wilson's design drawing of his car becomes useless at first, but later on was used for Achmed and Hassan to save them.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: As a rare instance for a Jeff Dunham film, Achmed reunites with the Wilsons and renounce his ways of terrorism to become a U.S. citizen from an exchange of the Achmedmobile he and his boss made to save the family.
- Sand In My Eyes: Achmed says this whilst tearing up during the song "In Claude We Trust"
- Villain Protagonist: Achmed, until he got a change of heart from the celebration of the town’s 100th birthday.
- Wild Take: This happens to Achmed when he sees there was 45 seconds left to the bomb he placed during the ceremony.
