- Synopsis: Instead of the Praetors leading the invasion, it's the Mass Effect races, for what purpose however remains a mystery. A mystery the Xenonauts must uncover.
- Comments: A, so far, excellent story that only takes place from the humans perspective, leading into a very great mystery as to what compelled the canon Mass Effect races to resort to such an invasion. Only a few chapters in, eight so far, but by then, you'll be able to decide for yourself if it's up your alley. I recommend it for the mystery, and a unique take on the typical Mass Effect fanfic formula by themselves.
