This is a list of recommendations made by Tropers for Fanfics based on The Sisters of Dorley. Feel free to recommend your favourite fanfics in the indexes posted here, as long as it's in line with the rules:
- No Underage Sex: This means no fanfics with plots based on sexualizing characters under the age of 16.
- No Porn: In other words, no pure Lemon fanfics. This is a wiki for Tropes, not a dictionary of porn. If you think you've found a deserving exception, you can always consult this thread
, and if approved, make sure to flag it as Not Safe for Work. - No Self-Recommendations: These pages are a readers' service, not an advertising service for authors. Use this thread instead.
- No linking to pre-patched ROMs: Any ROMHacks should only provide sources with the patch filenote , preferably with its page on somewhere like RHDN.
- Add Works Using the Template: It's right down there.
Bear in mind that recommendations are subjective, so if you want to question or discuss any given recommendation you should do so on the appropriate discussion page. If you want people to read the fanfic you're recommending, you should put some effort into writing the description. Sell us the fanfic, but don't inflate it; we're striving for some quality stories here, so if you have difficulties with making it look interesting, maybe it wasn't that good in the first place.

- Crossover with: List the works the fic crosses over with. If the work isn't a crossover, remove this line.
- Status: Completenote /Ongoingnote /Hiatusnote /Dormantnote / Deadnote
- Synopsis: Give a breakdown of the plot. Do not copy the fic's summary; that's plagiarism and could land the wiki in hot water.
- Pairing(s): List the pairings in the fic. Use the x/y (e.g. Alice/Bob, Charlie/Delilah, etc.) format. If there are no pairings, remove this line.
- Tags: If any are known. These would be things like W.A.F.F., Lemon, Crack Fic, etc.
Add ReviewNote: That last bit of gibberish with the square brackets turns into a button linking the fic to its reviews, which is where all opinions about the work go. The recommendations lists are just for recommendations and the synopses. Since the coding doesn't like punctuation, remember to strip that out before posting the link to the reviews section.

The Sisters of Dorley: Strangler in a Strange Land by Sailor_Yuggoth

- Synopsis: Three Dorley graduates have turned up dead. Aunt Bea believes it may be a serial killer, one linked to Dorley Hall—but strangely, not Amber, the one graduate known to actually be a terrifyingly brilliant serial killer. Now Christine is stuck as Amber's unwilling sidekick as the two girls race against time to find out who's murdering Dorley girls before the killer takes another victim...
- Comments: It's a bit of a Crack Fic, but it's written in a style highly complementary to the canonical story (by the author's wife, no less!), while bringing its own flavour of both hilarity and horror to the party.
Negative Time Glitch by inklesspen

- Synopsis: Aurora wakes up the morning of New Year's Day to find herself transported back in time two years, into her old pre-basement self. Trapped in her own past, can she find her way to a better future?
- Comments: An AU set just after Chapter 31, and somewhat overtaken by events (Aaron's new name here is Aurora, not Bethany), but a heartwarming take on Aaron's redemption and his relationship with Maria, ending on a sweet note of Maybe Ever After with Stef/Steph.
