In this alternate storyline Ariel has 3 months to spend on land with Eric, getting to know him and what it truly means to be human. Along the way the two of them must uncover what exactly Ariel promised the sea witch in exchange for the opportunity.
- Comments: A fantastically written alternate version of the film, that focuses on the relationship between Ariel and Eric over a period of three months rather than three days. One of the interesting parts that make this so different from the original movie is that not only does Eric know Ariel is a Mermaid from the beginning, but she also keeps her voice after she becomes human. At the same time of course, the deal with Ursula is also now different too. Overall though, this is among my favorite Little Mermaid fanfics.

- Synopsis: Drabble Series. A curious little mermaid made the mistake of annoying a Sea Witch and a man who was made of nothing but mistakes saved her. Together they make an unlikely family, and show that the world really was changing into something unlikely. Will eventually go through the events of all the Avenger movies.
- Comments: A short storyline, but a highly engaging one nevertheless, sticking a pre-teen Ariel in Tony Stark's life (her transformation into a human having been a punishment rather than a 'gift' from Ursula) and then watching as they form a strange family dynamic with Pepper and Rhodey, Tony finding himself unwilling to abandon this strange little girl whose life he saved and Ariel in turn coming to see Tony as a new father figure.
