- This author is a go to for Sorey/Mikleo fanfictions. Although the majority of their fics are oneshots there are a couple that are multiple chapters though they are works in progress. Their most most famous one might be Our Historia which is a post canon fic. If you're a fan of the pair I recommend checking them out.

- They do other fandoms, but when it comes to Zestiria they do a lot of Sorey/Mikleo and have a selection of usually long but very well written fics.

- This author has many well-written fanfictions, mostly for Sorey/Mikleo. Special mention to an ongoing Knight and Mage AU, beautifully crafted, suspense is written so well I could actually feel as if I was the one in their situation experiencing their panic and despair. Of course, there's also sweet sweet fluff but all the more delectable cause it feels like they earned it. Most of their one-shots are relatively longer than normal, but it gives them the space to explore the characters rather than rushing to a happy ending.

- Comments: This is a fic centered around Selene, Sorey's mother so it will provide heavy spoilers for late in the game, especially the end of the fic.

- Synopsis: A fight with a hellion seemed simple enough, until upon the defeat of it... The group finds themselves in a bit of an odd situation. The lasting malevolence manifested itself into a spell that knocked each of their souls into another's body.
- Comments: A short humorous non canon fic due to Dezel and Alisha being with the rest of the party that mainly focuses on the brief antics of the party in each other's bodies. Though the major drawback is that it is short and doesn't really explore how it happened.
Tales of Zestiria: Ring of Fate by Alley Cat Sunflower

- Synopsis: Once the Shepherd and his companions try to bring an end to the Age of Chaos, they find that they have instead unleashed an even greater evil upon Glenwood. If they want to secure a future, no past secrets can remain hidden, and each new truth discovered may bring either strength… or despair.
- Comments: This is a fic that takes place during the Bad Ending that primarily takes place through Rose's point of view.

- Synopsis: Six months after she became the Shepherd, Lunarre is still giving Rose the run around. After an encounter ends badly and Rose is injured, Lailah and Edna go to Alisha for help. Rose is reluctant to accept it; Lunnare is a family problem, and one she'd rather deal with herself.

- Synopsis: In a version of Zestria's world watched over by a pantheon of gods and the spirits known as regalias who serve them, the most popular and beloved god is The Shepherd, a god of protection who fights Phantoms and purifies the malevolence they spread. Unfortunately the Shepherd has a bad habit of sacrificing his life for the sake of his mission, but fortunately, a god will always be reincarnated so long as he has followers. One day, a recently reincarnated Sorey discovers a beautiful white haired spirit hiding from phantoms in a lake of sacred water and decides to make him his regalia. He names the spirit Mikleo and vows to make him happy. Mikleo vows to protect him no matter what.
- Comments: A crossover AU with Noragami, replacing the concepts of the Seraphs, the hellions and the Shepherd with concepts adapted from the other series. A very well written and fun AU that puts an interesting spin on Sorey and Mikleo's usual dynamic by having Mikleo start out as technically older than Sorey (since unlike seraphs, Noragami Spirits don't age and Sorey is a child god when they first meet), and the differences brought on by the whole God and Regalia dynamic in contrast to Shepherds and Seraphim in canon.

- Pairings: Sorey/Mikleo, a touch of Alisha/Sergei
- Synopsis: Everything was going great for Sorey until a drunk driver kills his mother. Now, Sorey has to move to a new town, away from everything he knows and loves, to live with a distant grandfather he hasn't seen in years. He doesn't know how to cope, but a new friend just might be what he needs to deal with his new circumstances.
- Comments: I follow this author quite a bit, and her works never fail to disappoint. She takes a dip into Zestiria's many, MANY alternate universe fics, particularly the college/modern AU, but with a twist: Sorey is made autistic here. And it works really well! It's very well written, the characters are all enjoyable and realistically flawed (Including Sorey, who was admittedly rather vanilla in the original game), the storyline and romance develop in a very organic fashion, and the author's depiction of autism is very nuanced and sensitive, which is especially good since the author is autistic herself. I took the liberty of making a trope page for it here, it's just that good!
