- Crossover with: This fic is ostensibly a crossover between G3 and Friendship is Magic, but the ponies of the latter only appear among G3 ponies' nightmares and along with the other past generation in spirit form towards the end to aid the G3 ponies in the finale showdown with hatred. So, its status as a crossover is kind of iffy.

- Synopsis: All of Ponyville, Butterfly Island, and Unicornia are suffering horrible horrible nightmares of strange creatures from another world tormenting them, while chanting things like Kill It with Fire and the real X isn't Y. Can one wish from Winkle Wish bring them the hope they need to end these nightmares? Can they save their home from Hatred itself?
- Review: G3 Ponies vs. Hatred is a great defense of the third generation, that takes the simplistic characterizations of canon and turns these ponies into fleshed out and sympathetic characters, while still staying true to their canon personalities and world, and showing why it and previous generations are just as true to the spirit of the franchise and have just as much a right to exists as the more popular Gen 4 series.
