She remembers watching the news stories on the original park, remembers her Mom tutting and saying, I told you so, didn't I tell you so, Claire-bear? Nothing good can come of messing with things that shouldn't be messed with. Now, sitting in the courtroom, watching grainy footage of screaming people, of Zara being caught, being dropped and caught again, watching Zara as the Mosasaurus' jaws clamp shut, she thinks her mom was right. - in which Claire wants to move on with her life, but life has other plans

• Comments: A borderline Deconstruction Fic, this is a truly fascinating story that shows the aftermath of the 2015 Isla Nublar incident from Claire's perspective, how she and Owen deal with the emotional baggage and the legal issues, and they even get to meet the survivors of previous incidents, including Grant, Sattler, Malcolm, Sarah, Nick, the Kirbys and Billy.

• Synopsis: Samuel Long was always looking for adventure, and what could be better than Isla Sorna, hunting dinosaurs? But one by one, people are dying and the line between fantasy and reality is blurring.

• Comments: Recommended to anyone who can appreciate the book as well as the film! Note that there are moments that are a little on the disturbing side, and not just because of the actions of dinosaurs, hint hint.

• Synopsis Why was Spinosaurus not recorded on the island? How do so many dinosaurs exist on a single island? What lives there? Will anyone even read this. This story has a interpretation of all these questions.
• Comments Like the above example, it details the origins of the island using book, movie and game elements, and discusses plot holes like feeding the dinosaurs. The story is humorous, most of it coming from Ian Malcom. Oddly enough it ties into Young Justice Next Gen, though you'd have to read said story to understand how

• Comments: This movie's not even out yet and we've already got an awesome fanfic that paints a beautiful and emotional image of the possible relationship between Owen and his raptors.

The Infinite Loops: Jurassic Park by Garnettfox

• Comments: A fascinating look at what might happen if all the Jurassic Park movies were trapped in a time loop, following the rules of The Infinite Loops. As a community project, it's really very good and worth a read.

After all, they must keep the asset contained at all costs. In which the Indominus Rex is bored, has conflicted and confused instincts… and she's lonely.

Because we all know the scientists of Jurassic World had proven themselves incapable of exercising discipline when it came to temptations. Why would it be any different with creating the Indominus?

(Or, three months prior to the Indominus Event, Vic Hoskins makes a bad decision, Owen Grady goes missing, and four six-foot, three hundred pound murder lizards escape into Claire's park. She can hear Alan Grant shouting, "I told you so!" from Montana.)

• Synopsis: She is not supposed to be there when the Indominus Rex hatches. But she is the first thing it sees when the shell breaks. She never wanted to be a mother. Suddenly, she is.
• Pairing(s): Owen/Claire, though the main focus is the familial bond between Claire & the Indominus Rex
• Comments: A cool little "what if" story wherein Claire accidentally stumbles upon the I. Rex as she's hatching and the little abomination imprints on her. Claire ends up becoming the I. Rex's Parental Substitute, with Owen giving her some much needed pointers.
  • Note that this story is actually also a crossover with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so pass it if that's not your cup of tea.

Shinnen:New Year by Ford1114 and Kanius

• Synopsis: Years have pass since he wielded the Guilty Crown. The young man, his wife, and their other friend meet new people to have a New Year Nightfest, alongside many sub-plots in a playground that is Manhattan. However, when an ancient conspiracy makes its reemergence, the heroes and villains put aside their differences to stop them, while the young man must reunite his Guilty World.
• Crossover with: Guilty Crown, Guilty Crown: The Lost Kingdoms, YuYuGiDigiMoon, Digimon Fusion Kai, Kanius Production Abridged, various anime and fictional works in popular culture, Jurassic World references
• Comments: This is a mega crossover taking place after Guilty Crown. At times it’s hard to follow with so many characters, but the plot and concepts are interesting enough for readers to keep going, and focuses on Shu’s main perspective in getting involved to confront his past demons. References of Jurassic Park/World are often use such as an army of Indominus rexes and hybrid dinosaurs appear as part of the antagonist organization, and that Shu plays the role of the T. Rex to reclaim his righteousness. At one point, the author mentions the connections of Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park to Code Geass's two seasons, while Guilty Crown relates to Jurassic Park III, this means the fanfic as a continuing thread is imagined like the fourth film. Later on, Rexy and Blue make their appearances in Ch. 25, alongside the Spinosaurus and The Big One in the final battles.

• Synopsis: Taking the scenario of "canon Mass Effect Earth is replaced by 'x'" Tyrant Kings is a collaborative effort to merge the settings of Jurassic Park and Mass Effect. After the discovery that several species of dinosaurs at Jurassic World had developed sapience, Man and Saurian made peace and headed for the stars, where they found ruins on Mars, as well as the corpses of their owners.
