- Synopsis: Pennywise never learned how to interact with human people in all the years he'd been living in Derry, Maine.
- Comments: The rare story that portrays Pennywise sympathetically without romanticizing his character. A great AU which stays true to the film while expertly fusing elements from the novel, yet continues in its own direction. A must-read for any fans of the novel and the movie.

- Comments: A really fun Watching the movie fic! The author gives a lot of characterization to the parent characters, which isn’t seen often. Also super funny.

- Synopsis: It takes Bill Denbrough for Its insidious games.
- Comment: An extremely dark fic, it branches off where Bill is abducted instead of Beverly and instead of eating him, Pennywise forces him to undergo a severe Break the Cutie. No sexual themes and it focuses a lot of psychological horror instead. A good fic for those looking for a non-pairing story.

- Synopsis: AU where Pennywise doesn't exist, a series about Eddie—who is autistic in this fic—and Richie, their budding friendship, their separation and the hardships they endure before reuniting and falling in love.
- Comments: An absolutely wonderful fan fic series that clearly has a lot of care and passion put into it. Plus, it has both one of the best depictions of an autistic person ever, and one of the best, most nuanced and sensitive portrayals of recovering from trauma.
