• Synopsis: The Solarian League is corrupt, incompetent and unblooded by serious conflict for centuries. It has, however, served as the enforcer of the Eridani Edict for equally long, and even a percentage point of the portion of GDP Manticore or Haven dedicates to military R&D should logically, when applied to its much larger resource base, result in some tricks of its own. In this alternate take on Mission of Honor, that is exactly what happens, and combined with some setbacks on the Mesan front, Manticore's position suddenly looks more tenuous than before. Beware Late Arrival Spoilers for Torch of Freedom and A Rising Thunder.
