A Million Tomorrows by Seventh Chance

• Synopsis: Jack leaves a sordid past to begin a new life in a strange village filled with even stranger people, only to find that no matter how far you run, you can't run away from yourself. BTN/Mineral Town. Many pairings.
• Comments: This fic is very well written, and although there is shipping the main focus is on Jack and his relationships with all the other characters. The amount of depth to it surprised me. Well worth reading.

• Synopsis: Leia's been there for Claire ever since she took over the farm at Mineral Town and the two thought they'd remain friends forever...
• Comments: The pairing is quite rare and this fanfic is a rare gem in itself. It's cute well-written and not as sickly sweet as you'd expect.. At all.

Best Friends by Artificially Intelligent Data Anomaly

• Synopsis: HM:DS Cute. How terribly unfair that a man and a woman become spouses while a woman and a woman become "BF Fs." Less angst, more anger. An insight into the small world of boondocks love and its victims. Keria and her rather disgruntled Claire.
• Warnings: Many, many Cluster F-Bomb's. As in "every other line, most likely multiple times".
• Comments: I find the theory surrounding this fanfic quite interesting. It makes Forget-Me-Not Valley into a Crapsaccharine World and I really like the grimdark.

• Synopsis: After Takakura's oldest friend dies unexpectedly of a degenerative disease, he finds himself merely waiting for death to join the two. How do you decide to love while getting mixed signals from everyone in town?
• Comments: Okay, so I realize that the ship probably seems bizarre, but trust me when I tell you that this fic is truly incredible. I've read it like three or four times, and every time I find myself more in love with it than I was before.

• Synopsis: She never imagined falling in love. He never thought he'd love again. But when their growing friendship turns into something more, and others try to tear them apart, will their love for each other be strong enough to survive?
• Comments: Despite this story having never been finished for the past 10+ years, what's there is really good! Despite how the main pairing of Celia and Gray seems like it would not work, the author really makes it believable! It's angsty, romantic, funny, cute and a bit intense at times! I most sincerely hope that this story gets properly continued someday.
