These are recommendations made by Tropers for Gungrave Fan Fics, all of which have been signed. After a few samples, you will be able to judge whether you might be interested in the fanfic, based on who recommended it. No-name recommendations will be zapped. Nobody would back up the rec. Discussion of the recommendation is welcome on the discussion page. As such discussion is important, do remember to add the discussion page to the watchlist, if need be.

Do warn when a fanfic may head into non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.

What Do They See Before They Die? by Astarii Amaranth

• Synopsis: Many men have been killed by Millenion's best sweeper, Brandon Heat. One must wonder, what do they see before they die?
• Comments: Set during the events of Millennion, this work focuses on adding layers to Brandon's character. Although the paragraphs often get very long, it is still excellent in terms of characterization, especially the portrayal of Brandon's guilt over his job as a hitman.

Bit of Sunshine by Scarbie

• Status: Complete
• Synopsis: Brandon finds that rainy days and grocery shopping aren't all that bad.
• Comments: Set before the events of Millennion, this work focuses on the relationship between Brandon and Maria as Brandon goes grocery shopping. It's a sweet and relaxing read with spot-on characterization, even for minor characters like Jolice, Nathan, and Kenny.

Sun & Moon by All and Sundry

• Status: Complete
• Synopsis: They were like the sun and moon. And those two celestial entities could not touch.
• Comments: Set before the events of Millennion, this work focuses on the relationship between Brandon and Maria as Brandon walks Maria home at night. Stylish and descriptive with spot-on characterization.

Hapless Dreamers by Danyu

• Status: Complete
• Synopsis: For a short time, the lines between hapless dreaming and reality were allowed to blur.
• Comments: Set during the events of Millennion, this slightly AU work focuses on the relationship between Brandon and Maria. Slighly OOC, but there's the justification in the story and Brandon remains as a complex Hitman with a Heart. And expect careful and beautiful word choice immersing you into the story.
