- Synopsis: The story branches off after the sailing accident in "Scarlett". Scarlett falls ill and is forced to stay in Charleston with Rhett and his family. The two slowly reconcile and begin to build a new life together while dealing with the ghosts of the past.
- Pairings: Scarlett/Rhett, Rosemary Butler/OC
- Comments: Characters are remarkably in character, but also undergo realistic growth. The author also echoes the style and tone of the original novel quite well. A million times better than any of the published sequels.
