  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Umbridge's use of the Blood Quill is the final straw that makes Harry and Hermione want to leave Hogwarts. Dumbledore convinces them to remain by having Umbridge Obliviated.
  • Slut-Shaming: Muggleborns are seen as nothing than amoral promiscuous sleazes that use sex to obtain advantages in the wizarding world.
  • Thou Shall Not Kill: Subverted. Harry and Hermione quickly learn, under the guidance of the Watchers' Council, that they need to ensure the Death Eaters are down for good.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Hermione, who acts more contemptuously that she did in canon. For instance she refuses to help Molly in cleaning up Grimmauld Place though the house was still dirty even after Hermione, Harry and Sirius spent weeks cleaning it up
  • Van Helsing Hate Crimes: The Watchers' Council views all supernatural beings as monsters that prey on humanity.
  • Wizard Duel: Between Dumbledore and Voldemort in the Ministry Attrium. This time around however Dumbledore is willing to cast nastier spells.
