Go To

Ultimate Ridonculous Race is an ongoing Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race fanfic written by TDICharlieBrown. It can be found here.

After the huge success of The Ridonculous Race, Don brings back all 18 teams who competed last season for a new race around the world. This time however, not only will they all be competing for TEN million dollars, an additional 18 teams will be joining the competition. Join 36 teams in the biggest race around the globe ever seen on reality TV with old friends (and enemies) making their grand return, new and old romances blossoming, and the drama and adventure that will be double that of last season's epic race.

This work contains examples of:

  • Berserk Button: DON'T call Anna old. She won't take it very well.
  • The Bus Came Back:
    • Amy, Sammy, Max, Brick, DJ, Leshawna, and Tyler come back to compete after not being shown for a while.
    • Chef Hatchet (and Ted the Tiger) also return as interns for Don.
  • Child Prodigy: Ry-Ry is extremely learned for a boy of Junior's age and is an avid reader of many great works of literature. However, he's also painfully shy and socially awkward, especially around girls.
  • Connected All Along: Max states that Owen is his cousin (a reference to Total DramaRama, where this is in fact canon).
  • Cool Old Lady: Both of The Tough Grannies, Cindy and Anna
  • Cuteness Proximity: Emma and Kitty succumb to this when they come across a store full of puppies in Japan. Increases more after Mickey gives Milo to them.
  • The Dreaded: Max's new sidekick Zachariah terrifies just about every contestant he meets with his creepy appearance, his hulking size, and the fact that he makes Crimson and Ennui look loud and energetic.
  • Enemy Mine: Quinton and Max put their feud aside during Mongolia when working with the Bouncers since the Bouncers hates them.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: The Ice Dancers shoot daggers at Amy for brutally bullying her twin sister at one point.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • Kelly has always put up with Taylor's attitude, but even she can't tolerate the Internet Critics. She even tells them off.
    • The Bouncers are furious when their plan to get the Ice Dancers eliminated backfires because the Medical Doctors got caught in the fire and were eliminated instead.
  • Foil: Max and Quinton are very pompous and egotistical. Quinton fights for good, and Max fights for evil.
  • Good Parents: Donald to Lauren. He taught her the ways of business so she could be successful and isn't abusive towards her.
  • Hate Sink: Rachel of the SJW's is meant to be this. She's completely self-righteous about her beliefs and banters anyone who's male.
  • Hated by All: The Internet Critics, James and Doug, are hated by everyone because of their constant nagging about what they think was off about the show.
  • Hypocrite: Rachel is sexist towards boys, yet she thinks that humanity is sexist towards girls.
  • Kick the Dog: Chef just wants to relax during his retirement, but it fails. As a result of Ted the Tiger eating a lot of cheese that cost a lot, Chef has to work as a intern for Don with Ted in order to pay off the cheese.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Of the elderly kind. The Tough Grannies are snarky and rough bikers. The Tennis Rivals are silly and goofy tennis players.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • Chef Hatchet briefly mentions potentially opening a daycare as a backup retirement plan.
    • Brick states in a confessional that he was invited to compete on Total Drama All-Stars but declined the offer, which is a reference to how he was considered for the season by the series' creators before being replaced with Sam in the final product.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed:
    • Donald of the Business Tycoons is based on pre-presidential Donald Trump, especially in his time as host of The Apprentice.
    • Internet Critics Doug and James are clearly based on Doug Walker and James Rolfe respectively.
  • Odd Friendship: Tyler and Leshawna form their own team despite having fairly little interaction with each other in the parent series.
  • One-Steve Limit: DJ's partner is named Ryan, but due to the fact one of the returning competitors is already named that, he's referred to as Ry-Ry.
  • Overly Long Scream: After being trashed by Josee, Anna lets out a scream so long and loud that the plane shook, leaving everyone scrambled.
  • The Quiet One: Both Laurie and Zachariah show this trope. The former acts gloomy as a result of the last season, and the latter just doesn't talk and sometimes talks quietly to himself.
  • Rude Hero, Nice Sidekick: Quinton is the self-centered, rude hero to Elroy's selfless, nice sidekick of the Superheroes.
  • Shut Up, Hannibal!: Lauren cusses out Rachel after having enough of her nagging view on males and her bashing her father.
  • Took a Level in Badass: The LARPers go from 1st boots to performing decently well in challenges.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Jay, of all people. He holds a grudge against the Sisters for sabotaging him and his brother's chances in the first season, and unlike canon, is angry and vengeful. He goes as far as to flip them off.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Devon and Marcus will do ANYTHING to get rid of bullying and cheating. Ironic, as they bully their way through the competition.
