Total Drama Domination is a Total Drama fanfic created by captainswagswag (on FanfictionDotNet). It has all 84 characters that have ever competed along with 6 new original characters competing along with them. In January 2022, the story was canceled, having last been updated in March 2019. The story was a little past the halfway point, in the early post-merge.

It can be found on fanfiction.net here.

Total Drama Domination contains examples of:

  • Beware the Nice Ones: Cameron is still his nice self from canon and is very supportive of Mike and the return of his MPD. When Zoey selfishly keeps bonus money she earned in episode 27's challenge instead of giving it to Mike to see a doctor to look at his MPD, he minces no words with her.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Dara loses her patience at Arnold's refusal to join her back to Camp Wawanakwa to finish her challenge, and she screams and cusses at him. Unfortunately, she regrets it.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: When Brick tells off Jo's fighting behavior in the prison challenge, Jo responds by cutting Brick's ballsack open with scissors.
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Brick soon becomes this, though he eventually grows out of it.
  • Enraged by Idiocy: Chad is annoyed very easily whenever someone does something stupid in his eyes.
  • Epic Fail: Many.
    • Tyler's attempt at the Ninja Warrior challenge had his tracksuit get caught around his ankles when he tried to take it off, ensuring he couldn't even so much as try clearing the first obstacle.
    • Jay and Mickey ran straight into the water at the beginning of the same challenge.
    • Jay and Mickey again, plus Cameron, couldn't even get into the push-up position in the FitnessGram challenge a few episodes prior.
    • Jay and Mickey (surprise!) in the paintball challenge, which came around the same early point in the series as the above. Mickey openly wanted out of the challenge, and Jay, who was given five bonus shots for having played the Lance idol in the episode prior, shot a different person than Mickey all five times.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Chris does not approve of Keith's felonious behavior, and he and Don routinely punish him.
  • Glass Cannon: Lance is extremely loud and confrontational, but constantly has things go wrong for him once he's on defense.
  • Gone Horribly Wrong: Lightning's funeral consists of Brick yelling at his team, killing the mood, followed by Chris and Don falling into Lightning's grave because they were distracted by said yelling. Averted by Max's funeral, which went normally.
  • Groin Attack:
  • Hate Sink: Ethan, the Hitler worshipper, was this in spades. He's a very morally backwards guy who still supports the Nazis almost a century later, and has Adolf Hitler as his idol. Needless to say, a lot of reviewers dreaded his appearance in the upcoming follow-up season had Domination finished.
  • Hurricane of Puns: Numerous times throughout, but the Ninja Warrior two-parter is easily the most guilty, courtesy of Chris and Don.
  • Insufferable Genius: Chad's label is the "Insufferable Intelligent Jerk," and he states lots of facts in an annoyed manner.
  • Jerkass: So many...:
    • Chris was already one in canon, but he somehow gets unbelievably worse, alluding to how he progressively gets meaner in canon.
    • Keith is pissed at Sky for dumping her, but what really takes the cake is how he treats Dave. He even shoots Dave twice, and is shocked whenever he gets punished.
    • Chad for his smart-ass attitude and protesting whenever something doesn't go his way.
    • Vert, a new personality of Mike, comes out whenever a girl gets naked in his presence, and he rapes the unfortunate victim.
    • Jo is a greater magnitude of jerkass than ever before, doing things the canon Jo would never do such as cut Brick's ballsack open with scissors.
    • Brick, of all people, becomes this by acting like a Drill Sergeant Nasty towards everyone. He stops.
    • Devin was this big time after his and Carrie's breakup until Zoey's sudden selfish behavior in her boot episode causes him to reconsider his behavior.
    • Carrie also became this after the aforementioned breakup. She was nowhere near as bad as Devin, but unlike him, she never got better.
    • Geoff shows this by breaking up with Bridgette over a challenge accident and then acts like it was nothing, with hints of being entitled and smug after seeing her hang out with Brody.
    • Bridgette became this near the end of her last episode, when she calls Geoff smug and arrogant, then calls all guys stupid when Brody, who she was crushing on, admitted he forgot about his relationship with MacArthur. Even after her elimination, she continued to hold that viewpoint.
    • Josee carries over her ruthlessness from the Race, being rough and unsympathetic on her team alongside Jo, and it causes her elimination in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
    • Zoey suddenly becomes one in her last episode when Mike requests the $50,000 bonus money she won from the episode's challenge, and she refuses out of selfishness. She then admits she was going to break up with Mike, showing she had no patience with his MPD.
  • Laser-Guided Karma:
    • Chris and Keith being by far the most unpleasant staff members cause them to be the first two staff members to kick the can for reasons related to their behavior.
    • When Zoey refuses to give Mike $50,000 she won in TDA's kart challenge, she not only gets voted off over four people who were feuding out in the open, but ends up losing her money after her elimination.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination:
    • Max and Lightning died in the middle of challenges.
    • Chad and Lorenzo were disqualified for violating the "you must sing" rule by ending their respective songs without having ever sung.
    • After Mike's lustful new personality Vert comes out a third time, he is escorted off the show by Alf, this story's resident police officer.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Sugar veers sharply into this in her last chapter when she calls Leonard the N-word (hard -er and everything). This leads to her elimination.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech:
    • Zoey gets one from Cameron when she refuses to give Mike $50,000 she won during the karting challenge from TDA, calling her a hypocrite and bad at relationships.
    • Mike gives Zoey one himself at Playa de Losers, telling her she is not perfect. This one causes her to run off and cry.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Chad's alma mater.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Lots of people:
    • Chris continues the trend of him getting meaner in each passing season. When Dara ends up injuring herself in episode 19, his response is to scream in anger at her, which makes Dara sob her eyes out.
    • Zoey of all people does this in just her last episode. She wins a bonus $50,000, her boyfriend Mike asks her to lend it to her so he can quit and pay for a look at his MPD...and she selfishly refuses. Made more jarring after Amy gave Sammy her $50,000.
    • Devin, another person who was really nice in canon, became a big jerk not long after Carrie broke up with him. After Zoey gets called out for her selfishness in her boot episode, Devin finally changes back to normal.
    • Carrie herself. She wouldn't give Devin a chance to even explain himself when breaking up, and while she finds herself dwarfed by Devin's behavior, she stays a jerk to the end, unlike Devin.
    • Brick, once he became a Drill Sergeant Nasty, though like Devin, he grows out of it.
    • Bridgette, like Zoey, becomes this in her boot episode. Geoff had broken up with her much earlier in the series, and had completely forgotten he had done so. Bridgette however paints him as a smug and annoying jerk, then calls all guys stupid when Brody, who she was seeing, admits he forgot he was in a relationship with MacArthur still.
    • Jo was already a jerk, but she became a violent sociopath, bordering on psychopath, in her last episodes, such as cutting Josee's hand with scissors and then immediately after cutting Brick's ballsack all because he played mediator in the girls' conflict.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Amy warms up to her sister and becomes a much nicer person in general.
