To Be a Slytherin
is a Harry Potter fanfiction written by Morgana Deryn.
It takes place in an Alternate Universe where Harry has a twin sister by the name of Lorena. Upon their arrival at Hogwarts, Harry gets sorted into Gryffindor as per Canon, but Lorena finds herself sorted into Slytherin. The story mainly focuses on Lorena's perspective for obvious reasons.
To Be a Slytherin provides examples of:
- Action Girl: Lorena, who became skilled enough to hold her own against the ENTIRE DA.
- Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed with Ron. While he is not a straight-up villain in this, his more annoying traits are called out very often, usually by Lorena.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Lorena's had quite the impact on Draco Malfoy, softening his character, to the point where they are the story's Official Couple.
