The Web Tech
is a Spider-Man and Glitch Techs crossover by Epiclot214, in which an OC friend of Five and Miko gets bitten by a spider affected by glitch energy and gains powers as a result.
- Amnesia Missed a Spot:
- Like Miko, Tim is immune to Hinobi's mind-wipes, Otto assuming that it’s because of the Glitch energy that gives him his powers, though he was knocked out during it like Miko was.
- Later, the reset at the tournament fails to erase the notification Felicia Hardy got of her virus successfully being uploaded, so when she doesn't remember doing said uploading, she quickly realizes that something is going on.
- Ascended Fanboy: Norman in this AU is a former pro gamer and a big fan of Hinobi's games, so after he became a CEO he formed a business partnership with the company.
- Fusion Fic: While Peter Parker doesn't exist here, other elements of the Spider-Man mythos does, like Oscorp and Hinobi being business associates (as Osborne was a big gamer before he became a CEO), or Otto Octavius working for the Glitch Techs.
- Let Us Never Speak of This Again: When Mitch freaks out over a spider, he invokes this on Bergy with a threat.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Mitch's gauntlet leaking because he didn't empty it and zapping the spider that bites Tim is what gives him his powers.
- Screams Like a Little Girl: Mitch is specifically noted to scream like a little girl when he sees a spider.
