The Nocedas and the Demon Realm
is a The Owl House AU story in which Vee and Hunter escape from the Isles together several years before canon, and are raised by Camila with Luz, eventually returning to the Isles when she finds her way there, as she was destined to do.
- The Beastmaster: Although she hasn't used any spells for it yet, if she even can, Vee has shown an interest in Beast-keeping magic.
- For Want Of A Nail: In this AU Hunter meets Vee and escapes from the castle with her a few years before canon, running through the portal to Earth to get away from Belos.
- Happily Adopted: After they arrive on Earth, Vee and Hunter find themselves taken in by Camila.
- In Spite of a Nail: Despite the presence of Hunter and Vee, Luz still arrives in the Isles and meets Eda.
- With Vee and Hunter gone, the events of "Once Upon A Swap" happen more or less the same as in canon.
- Synchronous Episodes: Hunter and Vee's adventure in Chapter 9 takes place at the same time as the canonical "Once Upon A Swap".
- Time Skip: The story starts with Hunter and Vee as children, fleeing through Eda's portal to Earth before she can stop them. The next chapter cuts to right before the point where Luz first came to the Isles in canon.
