The Mating Frenzy
is a Naruto fanfic.
Its plot is kicked off when Tsunade notes that Konoha has a low population, and decides to take some initiative about that. However, things quickly go out of hand, as what she originally hoped to be an increase in sexual activity turns into a near village-wide orgy.
Though the premise makes it sound like Porn Without Plot, it's actually a brilliant Crack Fic that at moments Crosses the Line Twice, especially with the reaction of the female ANBU members to being given vacation time. Notable for the large amount of crack pairings; and for refusing to vividly describe sex scenes, despite its premise.
This Fanfic Provides Examples of:
- Babies Ever After: The intended result of Tsunade's plan. Also the multiple endings.
- Barbie Doll Anatomy: It turns out that the Sexy no Jutsu suffers from this.
- Big Eater: Chouji. He even tries to make sushi out of Kisame.
- Black Comedy Rape: The female ANBU members aren't used to having time off, so they go around abducting male shinobi and molesting them. Specifically, when a male ANBU mistakes Itachi for female... nothing happens to the ANBU in question but it turns all the other males off the idea.
- Butt-Monkey: Jiraiya is the only shinobi in Konoha who is completely and unreservedly on board with Tsunade's program. He is also the only man in Konoha who no kunoichi ever takes seriously.
- Double Standard Rape: Female on Male: However, when a male attempts to emulate the females, it doesn't go very well.
- Fan Disservice: People over 60 are excluded from clothing restrictions on the basis that "nobody wants to see that."
- Heads I Win, Tails You Lose: "Let's make a bet! If I win, you have to have sex with me, but if you win, I have to have sex with you!"

Hilarious in Hindsight: Sasuke worries that his babies with Sakura would have her pink hair. Cut to the canon epilogue, and it turns out he has nothing to worry about- their daughter Sarada inherited his black hair. - Multiple Endings: Just who has babies with who differs in each ending.
- Serial Escalation: Built into the rules in an attempt to arouse. After one week all men must go shirtless (and hat-less, to Kankuro's dismay). After one more week, all women must go topless.
