On those encounters, he faces danger, some romance (for the spice), and everything a fanfiction protagonist should encounter. This work provides examples of:
- Adaptational Personality Change: This Yuuki seems to be a mixture of his original characterization in the first Princess Connect and his current one in Re:Dive. While relatively a Nice Guy, Yuuki has his moments to snark at his friends. Justified as this Yuuki is starting to regain his memories.
- Chick Magnet: Even some of the girls poke fun at Yuuki's ability to attract women.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Io has some shades of this, especially if someone takes her spot as Yuuki's teacher.
- Properly Paranoid: Ruka tells Yuuki not to tell the Landosol royalty and any of the knights about her and her guild's investigations since they suspect they might be in league with the criminal groups. Given who actually orders them, she has every right not to trust them.
- Tempting Fate: Yuuki thinks that going shopping with Karyl would be fine. Then the scene transitions to Yuuki regretting it as he's the one carrying all of the bags.
