Danganronpa: The Hopeful Lies We Tell
is a currently ongoing series by liammarklh88 which features twenty-two students who are known, unsurprisingly in the Danganronpa universe, as Ultimates. These Ultimates, however, are not in any normal situation where a killing game commences inside of a school building in Hope's Peak Academy. But rather... It takes place in the Academy of Crown Crest! An Academy that has recently opened when a bunch of severe controversy appears in the news that put Hope's Peak Academy in a bad light while Crown Crest appears in a golden light in the eyes of the public.
The readers are first introduced into this story from the introductions of Arihime Miyagawa, Crown Journalist, who is there to investigate the sudden appearance of Crown Crest Academy and discover the truth if they are responsible for the rumors to appear in Hope's Peak Academy.
The Hopeful Lies We Tell is the first story out of eight stories within the Sin Saga.

They are stuck in a Killing Game within the ground of Crown Crest Academy, which boasted in accepting every students who can reach to Ultimate level and providing luxurious treatment for the students.
- Deadly Game: Well, this is Danganronpa, after all.
- Murder Mystery: Considering what Danganronpa is, this is a given.
- The Ace: Everybody in this story is an Ultimate... Well... equivalent of one as this students are known as Crown Students since this is taking place in Crown Crest Academy which acts as the Rival Academy of Hope's Peak.
