The Harmon Verse is a series of stories that are connected to the television series Glee, involving the character of Jack Harmon and those associated with him. The universe was created by SoullessWarlock
on FanFiction.Net in the summer of 2010 and has grown to include numerous original characters from different fanfics and writers on the site.
The series is mainly a a comedy, but often has some serious moments as well.

Tropes associated with The Harmon Verse
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Where do we start...
- Code Name: Jack has a tenedancy to give most of his friends and associates nicknames, but has given most of the OCs code names derived from the nursurey rhyme Tinker, Tailor and as an allusion to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
- Deadpan Snarker: Quite a few characters (Sue, Jack, Puck, pretty much everyone who's a snarker in Glee itself), but this is Daniel's defining character trait.
- Meta-Fictional: All of the writers in this universe are this to some degree.
- Depending on the Writer: In the hands of Soulless Warlock and Gone Rampant, the Harmon Verse takes on a more surreal and absurd turn while Cola-Flavoured-Sherbert and Zero Ben's interpretation of it are more realistic...Well, as realistic as a universe centered around Glee can be. The character portrayals are pretty consistent, however.
- Destination Defenestration: Jack and Daniel have both been thrown out of and through windows - and this was before they even got to Sectionals.
- Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: The end result of pissing Jack off. He also tends to do this a lot himself...as does Daniel.
- Dysfunctional Family: The Harmon family is this in spades. Michelle seems to be a part of one as well. The Mayhew family also pretty much embodies this trope.
- Family Business: Harm Co is a great example of this trope.
- Gender Bender: One for most of the Glee characters in an Alternate Universe chapter of Pack. Turns out to only be a semi-version, as Soulless Warlock said in a private message that characters like Burt and Carole are still the same.
- Happily Married: The older couples tend to have this.
- Kristopher Harmon and Lisa Puckerman. Despite both of them going through bitter divorces years earlier and a 17-year age gap, the two are pretty happy together.
- Dylan's parents, Matthew and Dawn Armstrong. Until they died.
- There's no idication that Daniel's parents were unhappily married before their deaths.

- Mitchell's parents seem to be reasonably happy.
- Ridley's foster parents, Craig and Erica Bennett, are very happy together. It is also implied that Ridley's mother and stepfather, Elise and Byron, were happily married though their marriage imploded after Elise was arrested for art forgery.
- Hero of Another Story: Jack, Mitchell, Dylan and Daniel to each other - while they all show up in See It My Way, A Different Point Of View, He's Alive/Through Our Eyes and Recap, they're all lesser characters in those works outside of their own.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Happens quite a bit, Michelle with Mitchell, Daniel with Rachel, Jack with Rachel, and Dylan and Brittany until Season Three.
- Imagine Spot: Happens quite a bit, mostly in the form of flashbacks, but there have been several traditional uses of this trope (As with Glee itself, "Brittany/Britney" contains a good amount of it).
- If It's You, It's Okay: Played straight (no pun intended) with Jack and Ethan at some point in season three. Though it's more than likely Jack is experimenting
- Kick the Dog: Happens quite a few times in both The Harmon Verse canon and non-canon.
- Love Dodecahedron
- Meet Cute: Although they didn't meet that way, Mitchell and Michelle have tendency to collide, trip and fall in each other's prescene.
- Morality Pet
- Kristopher, Rachel, Kurt and later Puck and Beth for Jack
- Mitchell for Quinn
- Rachel and his Uncle Joshua for Daniel
- Jack for Ridley
- Mr. Fanservice: Jack and Dylan are normally the two characters who end up shirtless the most out of all the original characters, though the former ends up naked more often than not. They are both considered attractive by most women and even some of the men.
- Odd Friendship: Jack and just about anyone he is friends with that isn't Rachel. He is selfish, rude, and mildly demented, but he always comes through in the end.
- Remember the New Guy?: Averted and possibly subverted. Considering that the whole deal with the glee club is taking in talent, it allows for the new characters to jump into the story at any given interval.
- Self-Deprecation: Most of the OC's have moments where they take shots at themselves, and the authors also do this in the notes.
- Shout-Out: Jack's behaviour, clothing style and personality sometimes mirror Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, Sterling Archer from Archer, Pierce from Community and Barney from How I Met Your Mother.
- Daniel takes visual cues from Angel and has a deadpan behaviour similar to Sherlock in the BBC 2010 remake.
- Spin-Off: Red Vs Glee, which focuses on stories in the Red vs. Blue universe.
- Stalker with a Crush: Daniel and, on occassion, Jack and Mitchell. Though this is mostly Played for Laughs.
- The Stations of the Canon: There are some divergences from canon with the relationships, but the main arcs are mostly faithful to the show.
- Tall, Dark, and Snarky: Jack and Daniel. Sue and Puck are this as well.
- True Companions: The entire Glee club, whether they be canon or fanon, exemplify this trope.
- Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: Jack and Daniel's primary function.
- World of Snark: It's Glee. Everyone's had a shot at it one time or another.
