The Bug-Type Queen, written by LordCirce
is a Worm x Pokémon: The Series crossover where Taylor gets sucked up by a side-effect of multiple Bakuda bombs, and finds herself in the world of Pokémon, filled with large, sentient, super-powered bugs. She had a long journey ahead, until she arrives home and makes her way through this world alongside her slowly expanding swarm.

Tropes:
- Adaptational Villainy: Damian Daisuke wasn't a saint in how he treated Charmander in the anime, but here he has multiple warrants for his arrest for poaching, among other things.
- All Bikers are Hells Angels: Subverted. The Green Web Rollers look intimidating, but they're big fans of bug-types like Spinarak.
- Asskicking Leads to Leadership: The Weedle family sort out who is the "Elder" by who is the best at stabbing (i.e. strongest).
- Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Or at the very least really pissed off. The Pinsir that joins the Swarm basically attacked everyone it came across until they knocked it out after being hurt by the Rockets and Taylor has to try and keep in it check.
- Berserk Button: Torturing Bug-types (like Team Rocket does to break stolen Pokémon) feeds their suffering straight into Taylor's brain. The results are... predictable.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: Let's see... you have Beedrill, Butterfree, and Paras to start with. Then we get Heracross and Pinsir.
- Blood Knight: A small case with Charmander wanting to prove itself in battle despite being only seven months old. Nurse Justine has to remind Taylor that he needs to be at least a year old before getting into serious battles or it would run the risk of stunting its growth.
- Bring Me My Brown Pants: Bakuda craps herself when meeting the Swarm for the first time.
- Combat Pragmatist: Taylor will not let Rockets or their patsies send out their Pokémon if she can help it.
- Corrupt Cop: Some of the officers in Cerulean City were corrupt and working with Damien, causing a conflict with Taylor. Officer Jenny is pissed when she becomes aware of them acting how they did without permission and opens an investigation.
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- Taylor's attack on the Game Corner. The only thing the Rockets do that has any real effect is blocking a hall with Sandstorm to buy time to teleport out.
- The Interludes depict this happening to anyone who meets Taylor in Brockton Bay after her time in PokeEarth - she's taken so many levels in badass (not to mention added in bugs that are meaner than any to ever live in Earth) that no one can defeat her.
- Cute Monster: Spinarak and Charmander.
- Energy Beings: Pokémon, with their ability to be converted into an energy state being how pokeballs capture them.
- Flash Forward: The Interludes flash to the future, where Taylor has spent years in another world/dimension.
- The Force Is Strong with This One: Elder can sense relatively how strong his opponents are.
- Hellgate: Mr. Fuji creates a machine to poke a hole into the Spirit World in Lavender Town. It... goes about as well as you'd expect and Agatha of the Elite Four is called in to deal with it.
- Hive Queen: Taylor, due to her power linking her to her swarm. The sense of unity causes the Beedrill to feel loyalty to her, though it's not enforced via compulsion.
- Hollywood Heart Attack: Danny has one when Taylor shows up in the first interlude, given everything that's happened to her without him knowing. Luckily, Clawitzer has Heal Pulse.
- Insult to Rocks: Agatha's opinion of Mr. Fuji is low enough that once Taylor explains what she wanted, the Ghost trainer wearily groans she would have better luck consulting Professor Oak.
- My Kung-Fu Is Stronger Than Yours: Tattletale ends up being a victim of this trope, as her Sherlock Scan (which she claims is mindreading) can be nullified by Ariados, who possesses Psychic Powers, including actual mind reading.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Psyduck has to constantly put this on Bakuda because she keeps trying to make bombs out of the food she's given.
- Mercy Lead: Taylor gives the Undersiders fair-warning that she's going to start cleaning up Brockton Bay in half-an-hour.
- Mind Screw: Brock and the Pewter City trainers who have gathered to defend the city have this reaction when a swarm of Butterfree joins the swarm of Beedrill outside of the city limits. This is because normally, Butterfree and Beedrill don't get along.
- Mythology Gag:
- The Gym Trainers at Pewter Gym are from the Pokémon games: Liam is from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen and Jerry and Edwin are from Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
- After Taylor talks with Brock about how the Pokémon world works and he suggests to talk to Mr. Fuji, Edwin teases Brock about not asking Taylor out to which Brock gets embarrased. This an obvious nod to his anime counterpart.
- No-Sell: Volcarona casually stops Lung's fire in a flashforward.
- Oh, Crap!:
- The Pewter City resident's response to the Beedrill swarm.
- Brock and Jerry's response when they see the Beedrill swarm with some Weedle and Kakuna with Brock calling it a "migration".
- Old Soldier: Monty, an old Heracross with dozens of scars and injuries it considers trophies.
- Olympus Mons: By the time she returns from her trip through the Pokémon world, Taylor has befriend a few from her dialogue, including Hoopa.
- Plot-Relevant Age-Up: The Interlude segments have Taylor post-trip to the Pokémon world, where years have passed and she's in her twenties.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: Officer Jenny, Agatha, Brock... honestly, Taylor is slightly baffled by the number of them compared to her experiences on Earth Bet.
- The Resenter: Charmander is grateful to Taylor for taking him in, but hates being restrained from fighting because it's too young.
- Scary Stinging Swarm: The majority of Taylor's swarm are Beedrill.
- Seers: Xatu can see the potential futures that Taylor has in 3.7.
- Shoot Out the Lock: How Beedrill get past a locked door with Twineedles.
- Speaks Fluent Animal: Taylor with Bug Pokémon, those with psychic abilities, and Rachel, who can partially understand canine Pokémon.
- Telepathy: Aridados has this ability as a Pokémon that knows Psychic.
- Where's the Kaboom?: Paras' Damp ability stops explosions from going off, including Bakuda's bombs.
- Year Inside, Hour Outside: How things turned out in the Flash Forward segments. Taylor briefly mentions that Palkia and Dialga were responsible for dropping her back at the moment she left.
