The Bridge Between
is a crossover between Danny Phantom and Transformers, where Danny, when investigating an alien object at the edge of the solar system, which turns out to be a Spacebridge that activates while he's examining it, sending him hurtling towards Cybertron even as the Autobot Ark and the Decepticon flagship go through.
- Canon Welding: Danny thinks that the Dead Universe might be a part of the Ghost Zone that's full of corrupted ectoplasm.
- Outside-Context Problem: A mutual example. Danny and the Earth and ghosts are caught off guard by the Cybertronians, who are likewise completely unfamiliar with ghosts.
- Shout-Out: When Danny first sees the Spacebridge, he compares it to a Stargate.
- Bumblebee makes a joke or two about drift compatibility when he and Dani are doing their Symbiotic Possession experiment.
- Symbiotic Possession: Dani overshadows Bumblebee but doesn't override his consciousness, allowing her to use her powers in him to an extent, like flight.
- Thinking Up Portals: Danny has developed the abiity to make his own portals by the time that the story starts.
- Uncanny Valley: Danny drops the trope name when he meets Rewind, as his smaller size is throwing him and making him think that he should be a person in a suit.
