The Aristocats' Island
is a fanfic authored by MrZanyToTheMax (which is MrMenCentral's username on FanFiction.Net). It is a parody of Gilligan's Island.
The main characters are:
- Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse - from The Aristocats
- Wembley and Mokey Fraggle - from Fraggle Rock
- Yolanda Yop - from Dr. Seuss's book "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish"note
- Jenny Searchanfind - The Mr. Men Show OC
The Aristocats' Island contains examples of:
- Adaptation Dye-Job: In "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish", Yolanda was light blue. In The Aristocats' Island, she is yellow.
- Alliterative Name: Yolanda Yop.
- All There in the Manual: In his post-chapter comments, the author provides information about which Gilligan's Island castaways the Aristocats' Island castaways correspond to. He also explains that in The Aristocats' Island, Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse are Funny Barefoot Cartoon Animals.
- Beach Episode: Not an entire episode, but in "A Great Discovery", Jenny and Marie's rescue attempt takes place at the lagoon.
- Fishing for Sole: At the end of "A Great Discovery", Jenny has repaired the broken fishing line and is fishing in the lagoon when Berlioz comes along a second time. He takes the fishing line and catches an old boot.
- Just Eat Berlioz: If the castaways did that simple action (or got rid of Berlioz in some other way), they'd be off the island in no time!
- Plot Twist: During Jenny and Marie's rescue attempt in "A Great Discovery", Berlioz comes along, takes the fishing pole from Jenny's hand, and starts reeling in the line. Instead of pulling anything out of the lagoon, he pulls himself into the lagoon and breaks the fishing line!
