Surviving the Planet of the Apes is a fanfiction by YoureMyGirlBlue
on both Fanfiction.net and Archive of our own. It is specifically based on the Planet of the Apes (2001) continuity. It tells the story of OC, Lea Davidson, the sister of Leo Davidson, in her various adventures stuck as a slave on the Planet of the Apes.

- Fantastic Racism: Almost everywhere Lea goes, there is widespread prejudice against humans by the apes.
- Made a Slave: Lea is forced into slavery to a, fortunately, relatively nice ape family.
- The Patriarch: Uros is the eldest male in Thade and Lola's family, and is benevelont to his family, including Lea.
- Sex Slave: It is rumored that some Apes keep humans for this.
