Taylor triggers with the powers of Sailor Saturn and all the complications that come with it.

Silence Falls is a completed Worm/Sailor Moon crossover fanfiction by MrStarbuck on SpaceBattles.com.

The story can also be read on Sufficient Velocity and FF.net.

This Fanfiction contains examples of:

  • Beyond the Impossible: The killing of Leviathan aside, Taylor comes back from the dead, teleporting to Titan (and Sphere's moon base, despite powers not working outside of Earth's atmosphere) and breathing in outer space. This all to prove that she has the actual powers of Sailor Saturn rather than a triggered facsimile of it.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Lung breaks into Saturn's house to recruit or kill her. It doesn't end well for him Ironic because Lung turns into a dragon as he fights.
  • Calling Your Attacks: As a Sailor Guardian, Saturn has to commit to the trope, noting that she can't use her attacks without doing it. She even lampshades the echo-like effect her voice takes on while doing it.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Saturn vs. Levaithan. Leviathan only manages to land a single hit in. And she doesn't even feel it.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: The Silence Glaive attack, as in Sailor Moon canon, can eradicate all life in the Solar System at the cost of Saturn's life.
  • Earth-Shattering Kaboom: The intended result of Saturn's Dangerous Forbidden Technique. Luckily, Leviathan possesses enough mass that he is the only casualty, though her final strike still causes a 5.3 earthquake
  • End of an Age: After using the Silence Glaive on Scion, Saturn basically ends the Age of Parahumans by not only killing Scion, but its connection to the shards as well as the shards themselves. The epilogue notes that most parahumans, with the exception of those who were flying at the time or parahumans whose physiologies had changed enough that they couldn't survive without the shards influence (i.e. Case 53s), were fine.
  • First-Episode Resurrection: Taylor dies at the end of the first chapter when she uses the Silence Glaive on Leviathan. She comes back right after bearing the memories of both the original Saturn and Taylor Hebert.
  • Immune to Fate:
    • Contessa states that Saturn was outside the Path. Presumably, she is immune to other forms of precognition.
    • Dinah can see Taylor just fine, until she transforms into Saturn. Then the numbers keep changing. It seems she can see the effects, though.
    • Coil's timeline power glitches and cuts out when Saturn transforms, leaving him in a timeline he didn't choose.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: Hasn't happened yet, but Cauldron are planning on engineering a meeting between Saturn and Scion, where they hope Saturn will use her Dangerous Forbidden Technique on him
  • Lost Technology: After the death of Scion, due to the loss of parahuman abilities, Tinkertech becomes this as no one knows how to operate or maintain it anymore.
  • Outside-Context Problem: The powers of Sailor Saturn are leagues above what even the strongest capes are capable of. In her first battle, Taylor matches Leviathan and outright kills him at the end of it. As she's dying, no one is able to heal her or even stop her disappearance.
  • Resurrection Sickness: Taylor is still reeling from her sudden resurrection when the E88 and ABB try to recruit her, so she's not able to fight back as ably as she did before.
  • Wham Line: Dinah's last prediction in the chapter "Unknowable"
“Seventy point nine- no.” She stopped with a grimace, before rubbing her head and continuing. “Eighty-two point zero one one percent that the Earth is destroyed in less than a year.”
