Shoot Suspected Ghosts First, Ask Questions Never
is a Danny Phantom and Batman crossover, in which a desperate wish by Danny changes everything...
- Batman Gambit: Damian's plan to deal with the Guys in White is to set up a diplomatic event in Gotham between a few ghosts and humans, with Dick as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman there and Lois Lane covering the event, correctly assuming that the Guys in White will be unable to stop themselves from trying to interfere and expose themselves as bigots acting on the Anti-Ecto Acts despite the fact that they haven't even been passed yet.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Danny, desperate to stop the Anti-Ecto Acts from being passed, goes to Desiree and wishes that there was someone outside of Amity Park that knew what was going on and wanted to stop it as much as he did. Desiree decides to teleport Constantine, Batman, and Damian to the city, where the Fentons assume them to be ghosts and chase after them.
- Bullying a Dragon: Even disregarding how one of the ghosts they're after is Clockwork, the Guys in White go after a diplomatic event between the ghosts and humanity which not only is being covered by famous Intrepid Reporter Lois Lane, but has Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman there, and refuse to leave even after being told that the entire thing was set up legally and Superman pointing out that the Anti-Ecto Acts are still not passed when the leader of the squad cites them as the source of their authority. When another group attacks Red Hood (a dangerous vigilante and crime lord), and he makes it to the event despite them having apparently chased him for hours, Dick, who is posing as Batman for the event, and the other two heroes pummel them (along with Poison Ivy), and after they're arrested Lois interrogates the agents taken prisoner fiercely.
- Godzilla Threshold: Danny, desperate to deal with the Guys in White and stop the Anti-Ecto Acts from being passed, goes to Desiree with a wish.
- Magical Profanity Filter: As a result of a wish on Amity, true cursing is impossible in the city, with swears automatically substituted with other words. Constantine is a little worried about how he can still say "bloody" and "Hell" despite this.
- Meaningful Rename: Danny's original name was "Danyal", and when the Fentons took him in they merely misheard it as "Daniel". Once Damian says it again, he quickly starts going by it again.
