Redemption
is an MLP fic by PourMeADrink featuring a human named Ryan Williams adopting a very young Celestia and Luna and raising them on Earth. It is comparable to My Little Dashie in several ways and the author has even stated he was inspired by it.
This fanfic provides examples of:
- Apocalypse How: Class 4 Planeterary Level and Species Level as Humanity nukes itself leaving the only remaining sapient creatures being Celestia and Luna.
- Belated Happy Ending: The 2nd Epilogue where Ryan Williams is Back from the Dead.
- Bittersweet Ending: Humanity is dead, Celestia and Luna are orphans, but the Earth is green again and they do find Sapient creatures they can guide down a better path.
- Despair Event Horizon: Barely averted by Ryan in the first chapter due to the arrival of Celestia and Luna.
- Downer Ending: For Humanity in general and Ryan in specific.
