- Literal-Minded: Rainbowstar, out of boredom, makes some of the she-cats in her clan do the things that their name implies, such as telling Blossomfall to "make the blossoms fall".
- Love at First Sight: Tigerheart experiences this when he meets Rainbowstar.
- Meaningful Name: Rainbowstar, because of her rainbow pelt and eyes.
- And also one of Rainbowstar's nicknames for Squirrelflight, Carrotfur.
- The Nicknamer: Rainbowstar has many nicknames for Squirrelflight.
- The Nose Knows: Rainbowstar is the best hunter, so she also has the best nose.
- One-Letter Name: M, who is believed to be named after M&Ms, the candy.
- Powder Keg Crowd: When they realized that having Rainbowstar as leader was a bad thing.
- Road Apples: Briefly, when Rainbowstar requests that Squirrelflight go to the dirtplace to clean up poop.
- Sadist: Rainbowstar. She cares about no one but herself, and made all of the she-cats in her clan servants.
- Sequel: To Rainbowkit: Adventure of a Mary Sue.
- Shout-Out: Meghan Trainpurr, and Rainbowstar playing Crossy Road. Rainbowstar also used Twitter for a brief amount of time.
- Suddenly Shouting: Chapter 3 is actually dedicated to everyone screaming.
- Theme Naming: All of the cats in CandyClan, except for Rainbowstar and Garystukit, are named after candies.
- Timber!: Blossomfall accidentally makes a branch fall from a cherry blossom tree and crush Rainbowstar's head.
- Toilet Humor: One of the ranks Rainbowstar gives to her clan cats is named "pooper-scooper", and it's exactly what it sounds like.
