Portal To The Wrong World
is a crossover between Amphibia and The Owl House, in which a combination of Marcy deciding to run instead of opening the Box immediately and a gear slipping out of alignment causes her, Anne, Sasha, the Plantars, Grime, Olivia, and Yunan to end up scattered across the Boiling Isles.
This fanfic contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe Fic: The main divergence on the Amphibia side of things is that when Marcy gets the music box she tries to run instead of activating it immediately, and when it does activate a misaligned gear sends them to the Boiling Isles instead of Earth.
- In Spite of a Nail: Despite trying to get some distance before using the Box, Marcy still gets stabbed by Andrias.
- Lifesaving Misfortune: Anne, Marcy, and Sasha had the bad luck to end up in Belos's castle, where they're swiftly imprisoned, but this lets Marcy get the medical care she needs to survive Andrias stabbing her.
- Trapped in Another World: The Calamity Girls, the Plantars, Grime, Yunan, and Olivia are all sent to the Boiling Isles by the malfunctioning Calamity Box.
