"Outcasting English" is a South Park fanfiction by Xenanutra, written between January 19 of 2009 and January 11 of 2011.

Still a bullied British outcast, Pip Pirrup has a dream about Damien Thorne returning to South Park and demanding that Pip agree to an unspecified “favor.” Much to Pip’s shock, Damien actually does return the next day, and asks for a place to stay. The fic deals with Pip trying to figure out what Damien’s plans are, navigating his friendship with (and apprehensiveness towards and attraction to) Damien, his struggle with his sexuality, his trauma stemming from his recent sexual assault, and his desperation to keep all of this a secret.

Outcasting English can be read on Fanfiction.net.

This fanfiction provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Villainy: Kenny. From a hedonistic and perverted but ultimately well intended and caring character to a rapist.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Well, Wendy and Pip are certainly attracted to Damien.
  • Ambiguously Bi: Damien flirts with Pip throughout the fanfic, stares at a girl's ass, and comments about wanting to 'corrupt' Pip's sister.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Damien and Pip spend most of their time together engaging in Snark-to-Snark Combat, but Pip is very much attracted to Damien and it’s implied that Damien is as well.
  • Berserk Button: Hearing Amelia refer to their adoptive parents/aunt and uncle as "mommy and daddy" really pisses Pip off.
  • Big Sister Bully: Amelia used to be this towards Pip and despite having mostly grown out of it, she still occasionally dips back into this role.
  • Big Sister Instinct: That being said, Amelia still shows a lot of concern and worry over Pip's safety and emotional well being.
  • Clothing-Concealed Injury: Pip uses long sleeved and high-neck shirts and jackets to hide the cuts on his arm as well as the bruises and hickeys on his neck and torso courtesy of Kenny to hide his Self-Harm and the fact that Kenny raped him.
  • Deceased Parents Are the Best: Pip holds his birth parents in rather high regard, despite having lived with his aunt and uncle much longer than he ever lived with his parents.
  • Dead Fic: Hasn't been updated since 2011.
  • Disappeared Dad: Damien manipulâtes his way into Pip’s Aunt’s sympathy by lying that his father was an alcoholic drug addict who shortly before had left without a word. In actuality, Damien’s father The Devil has cut contact after Damien refused to bring about the apocalypse.
  • Don't Look At Me: After Damien moves in with him, Pip starts changing his clothes in the bathroom both as a general trauma response to and to hide his rape.
  • Dragged into Drag: Damien coerces Pip to try on a piece of women's lingerie with the promise of Damien answering Pip's questions about his return.
  • Dream Weaver: Before returning to South Park, Damien enters and controls Pip’s dreams thrice. The first time, Damien saves Pip from a nightmare and reintroduces himself. The second time to provide Pip some food and comfort. And the third and final time, to convince Pip to promise that he’ll "say yes," the next day to some unknown question.
  • Dude Magnet: Between Damien’s constant flirting with him, that French waiter’s hitting on him, and Kenny’s crush on him, Pip is definitely this.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Pip is very attracted to Damien. Pip himself manages to attract attention from Damien, a waiter, and Kenny.
  • Exact Words: Damien uses this to weasel his way out of answering Pip’s questions, despite their deal.
  • Forceful Kiss: In Chapter One, Kenny plants one on Pip after locking him in the bathroom, and after the rape does this repeatedly as part of the sexual harassment he puts Pip through in later chapters.
  • Forced Orgasm: It is heavily implied that Pip had one when Kenny raped him, which further exacerbates his negative view on his own sexuality as well as the victim blaming the voice in his head gives him.
  • Gayngst: Pip experiences a lot of inner turmoil over his attraction to Damien, not helped by the voice inside his head insisting that he will surely go to Hell for it.
  • Good Parents: Pip's aunt, who after the death of his birth parents became his mother, is caring and understanding towards Pip and later Damien.
  • Innocently Insensitive: At one point, Damien jokingly reassures Pip that he "[isn't] going to rape [Pip]" not knowing that Pip very recently went through just that.
  • Insistent Terminology: Pip insists on calling adoptive parents, his aunt and uncle, "mother" and "father," believing that only his birth parents should be called "mom" and "dad," and affectionate terms for "mom" and "dad."
  • I Warned You: The voice in Pip’s head taunts him, “I told you he liked you, I warned you. I told you.”
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Damien. He's still an asshole, but he did refuse to bring about the Apocalypse, and there are hints that he genuinely considers Pip a friend.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: Cartman. When Kenny is beginning to rape Pip, Cartman initially seems disgusted. When Pip begs him to help, however, it is quickly revealed that Cartman was only repulsed due to his own homophobia, and he refuses to help on the grounds that it's “Kenny's turn,” and he doesn’t want to ruin his buddy’s “fun.”
  • Loving Bully: Kenny is revealed to have had a crush on Pip for years, even while participating in Cartman’s bullying and violence towards him.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: After Damien refuses to uphold the deal that they made (Damien answering questions Pip has in exchange for Pip buying him clothes), Pip snaps and tackles Damien to the ground, punching him over and over. It doesn't really hurt Damien though, as he says Pip punches like an "anorexic girl."
  • "Not If They Enjoyed It" Rationalization: The voice in Pip’s head taunts him after Kenny rapes him, saying that Pip should be giddy to have "gotten laid" for the first time. His behavior towards Pip after the fact implies that Kenny believes in this too.
  • Oh, Crap!: Pip has this reaction when he sees that Cartman and Kenny are smoking alone in the bathroom Pip just sneaked into.
  • Parental Title Characterization: Pip very pointedly refers to his adoptive parents (who are also his aunt and uncle) “mother” and “father,” due to feeling that only his deceased biological parents should be called “mom” and “dad.” When Amelia comes home and starts to call said adoptive parents “mom” and “dad,” Pip sees it as a disgusting betrayal of their birth parents. Interestingly, Pip at one point has a dream where he is much closer to his adoptive parents and calls them “mom” and “dad,” implying that part of the reason for his Insistent Terminology is rooted in not feeling loved or wanted by them.
  • Rape Discretion Shot: After Pip realizes that Cartman isn’t going to stop Kenny, and that he is going to be raped, the fic ends the scene there and then comes back after it happens, when Pip is alone.
  • Rape Leads to Insanity: Downplayed. Pip was already suffering from mental health problems, to the point of having a dissociative voice in his head that actively insults him. His mental state worsens after being raped by Kenny in the first chapter, giving more ammunition for the voice in his head to torment him with, and all escalating to Self-Harm.
  • Remembered Too Late: Played for Drama. Pip is completely surprised by Kenny flirting with and then raping him, only having vague memories of Kenny’s bullying thanks to dissociating from the events. However, in later chapters Pip remembers times that Kenny expressed an attraction to him, whilst he was dissociating. Overlaps with Now You Tell Me, as the voice only warned Pip about Kenny right before it happened.
  • Resentful Guardian: Pip's uncle is implied to hate having to help raise Pip. He ignores Pip most of the time and responds to most of Pip's requests with an "I don't care."
  • Self-Harm: Pip frequently cuts himself, further inflicts pain in already existing wounds, and at one point repeatedly bashes his head into a wall. This is all to alleviate the stress of Damien's refusal to answer why he returned and what the dreams he gave Pip meant, Pip's voice in his head, and what happened in the bathroom at school.
  • Snark-to-Snark Combat: Pip and Damien are constantly exchanging insults and sarcasm.
  • Stalker with a Crush:
    • After raping him, Kenny turns into this towards Pip. Putting his number in Pip's phone, setting a picture of his penis as Pip's phone's wallpaper, constantly texting and calling him, and harassing him at school.
    • Damien can be considered a milder case of this as well, given the whole “entering Pip’s dreams” thing.
  • Stupid Sexy Flanders: Pip tries very hard to suppress and deny his attraction to Damien, both because of his Armored Closet Gay attitude and because Damien usually ruins the mood by being a dick.
  • The Tease: Damien will constantly make sexual comments and suggestions towards Pip, only to laugh it off when Pip expresses confusion or anger over it.
  • Villainous Crush: Kenny has one on Pip.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Damien’s habit of wearing women’s clothing is mostly portrayed neutrally, with Pip’s only concern being the reaction of the homophobic hicks of town as well as how attractive he finds it.
