One Piece, Two Piece, Red Piece, Blue Piece is a One Piece Self-Insert Fic by Bluejay Blaze, with help from Tetsik and Llama (who doesn't have a FF.net account).

On the day the first One Piece manga is published, our 4-year-old protagonist finds a mysterious rock that turns out to be a portal to that world. With most of her memory lost, she ends up meeting a 7-year-old Luffy, who gives her the name Bluejay. She ends up growing up with him, and thus has an influence on the plot from the very start. Hilarity and plot divergence ensue.

This fanfic provides examples of:

  • Berserk Button:
    • For Sabo, it's people acting in ways that remind him of the nobles back home.
    • Also, damaging their hats for Ace, Sabo, and Luffy.
    • For Ace, showing romantic or sexual interest in his little sister Bluejay.
  • Disability Immunity: Blue's nearsightedness means that she's immune to hypnotism, since both hypnotists they've met rely on visuals to accomplish their effects.
  • Domesticated Dinosaurs: Captain Snappy, a baby velociraptor that Zoro picks up on Little Garden.
  • Dope Slap: Thrown around casually between almost all characters. Of special note is the time when, just after meeting Ghin, Sabo asks the former to hit Bluejay for him.
  • Early-Bird Cameo:
    • Marco and Thatch appear in Mock Town on Jaya.
    • Koala and Hack are involved with the Straw Hats at Ennies Lobby.
    • Bartolomeo speaks to Blue in Loguetown.
    • Zoro manages to be this too, by getting lost and meeting Blue during the childhood chapter.
    • Rocinante appears as a ghost during the Halloween Special.
  • Easy Amnesia: Blue forgets her old life pretty quickly, with only songs from her old life being remembered. Until Sora reconciles her childhood memories and her new ones.
  • Empathic Weapon: Zoro's swords, which he talks to. They seem to respond as well. Usopp's Kabuto apparently starts doing this as well during the Enies Lobby arc. Zoro also starts teaching Blue to do this with her tanto.
  • Feel No Pain: Blue doesn't really feel pain after getting shingles, whether it's because of her pain nerves being eaten away or no pain measuring up.
  • In chapter 25 a number of crew members salute Zoro when he's giving orders in Luffy's stead; Sanji's salute makes "extensive use of his middle finger"
  • Hand Signals: Blue and her brothers have developed a form of "quiet-talking." They eventually start teaching it to the rest of the crew.
  • Heart Is an Awesome Power: Llama's power to change the color of objects turns out to be useful for a variety of purposes, including protecting herself from radiation.
  • Helping Would Be Killstealing: Coby's request to Bluejay in the Cursed Sword chapter implies this
    • Luffy to Sabo when the latter interferes with his fight with Kuro
  • Hereditary Curse: The Curse of Jones, which thanks to world-walking shenanigans affects Bluejay despite her being from "our" world.
  • I'm Taking Her Home with Me!:
    • Blue's first reaction upon encountering the Unluckies is to grab them and ask if they can keep them. Due to the fact that they are enemy agents, Sabo tells her to give them to Ace and Sanji.
    • Luffy has apparently decided at some point that they are "keeping" Kaku.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Usopp stills leaves the crew come Water 7.
  • Intoxication Ensues: What happens whenever Ace gets put on drugs to negate his narcolepsy.
  • It's Personal: When she thinks Sora has been killed, Blue calls dibs on fighting Wren, his killer.
  • Loophole Abuse: In the Davy Back Fight obstacle course, there's no rule against flying. Sora's Zoan form has wings. Do the math.
  • Membership Token: All the members of the Straw Hat Pirates (and Vivi) have tattoos based on the Straw Hat Jolly Roger.
  • Mistaken Identity: Blue being able to speak French makes Sanji think his dad sent her. Luckily it gets cleared up quickly.
  • Mythology Gag: A couple of Sora and Bluejay's discussions of her amnesia are these with relation to Sabo's canonical fate.
    • In chapter 18, Robin alludes to Shiki's Devil Fruit after the Straw Hats make their ship fly.
    • The final words of Going Merry echo Ace's last words in canon.
    • At one point Bluejay wonders what Coby would be like if he had become a marine.
  • Never Found the Body: Sora, after he gets hit by Wren and a building falls on him. Turns out he was in the Dream World.
  • Noodle Incident:
    • All we know about how Ace befriended his minions is that "It involved sixteen bananas, one of Blue's favourite songs, green fire, and a shiny rock."
    • During the Halloween special, Sora mentions a "Muffin Incident of 1998."
  • No Sense of Direction: Zoro, like in canon, but he somehow manages to pass this on to Captain Snappy as well, despite the raptor's tracking abilities.
  • The Nose Knows: Chopper, like in canon, has a good sense of smell. Captain Snappy does as well, and so does Llama.
  • Original Character: Besides the Self-Insert characters, most of the groups of enemies gain extra significant members so that they don't get "steamrolled by pure numbers."
  • Papa Wolf: For an absent father, Dragon is quite protective. Confronting Whitebeard when Thatch breaks Bluejay's leg is one examples. Although Ace would prefer for him to prevent Bluejay from dating.
  • Parlor Games: The Straw Hats play strip Truth or Dare in order to get to know each other well enough to understand each other's quiet-talk.
  • Power Incontinence: Sora has problems with properly transforming into his Rainbow Serpent form. Until the fight against the Accino family.
  • Raised by Wolves: Blue gets temporarily adopted by a tigress while living with the bandits. She gives all her attacks a tiger-based theme after that.
  • Red Baron: Blue earns the moniker 'Red Talons', Ace as per cannon is 'Fire Fist.'. Also Blue Dragon Sabo, Ghost Scorpion Kaya, Rainbow Thief Sora, Angel of Destruction Conis.
  • Related in the Adaptation:
    • The people Sora and Blue are based on aren't actually cousins in real life.
    • Phoenix Puzzle is Shanks' younger brother.
  • Running Gag: Bluejay denying being cute while Sabo insists that she is.
    • According to Nami and Coby, impossible things are very likely to happen on Thursday.
    • Before he gets a bounty, people thinking Ace, Luffy, and Bluejay kidnapped Sabo.
    • Every time she's asked where she keeps her weapons, Llama gives a different answer. Some are more plausible than others.
  • Shipper on Deck: He doesn't actively try to get them together, but Captain Snappy thinks of Zoro as "Ma" and Luffy as "Pops."
  • Signature Laugh: Bluejay's "Ksesesesesese!" Although this may be a reference to Prussia from Hetalia: Axis Powers.
  • Skewed Priorities: Ace is more upset about Blue dating Coby than her getting her leg broken. Dragon lampshades this while talking to Whitebeard.
  • Team Mom: Bon-chan is referred to as this In-Universe.
  • Textile Work Is Feminine: Blue is the one who Makino teaches sewing to. However, she also uses her skills to mend the sails, her brothers' hats, and turn defeated bestial enemies into fashionable and functional outerwear.
  • There Are No Therapists: It's constantly mentioned that Blue and her brothers should probably get therapy for their separation anxiety, but this seems to hold true. Until Conis, who is explicitly studying psychology, joins the crew.
  • Trick Bomb: Explosives are Llama's preferred weapons.
  • What If?:
    • Kaya joins the Straw Hats.
    • Since Ace is a part of the Straw Hats, he does not get captured going after Blackbeard.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: The Unluckies end up being made into mystery meat casserole.
  • Wolverine Claws: Blue eventually loots a pair of nekode from a defeated enemy, and they become her weapons.
