One Piece OLD WORLD
is An One Piece Alternate Universe Fic that branches off during the Egghead arc.
Luffy and the others face off against the top brass of the W.G that come to Egghead to kill Dr. Vegapunk. Unfortunately, an accident occurs and they land in a strange part of the world known simply as the OLD WORLD where there is weather and phenomena that are bizarre even by the series' standards. They proceed to reach the Legendary Laugh Tale and they learn some truths about the world and must get stronger to deal with them, the World Government, and their Pirate Rivals.
Rated M for violence, sexual material, and nightmarish elements. Luffy X OC.

One Piece OLD WORLD provides examples of:
- Adaptational Badass: After their training on Laugh Tale, the entire crew gets exponentially stronger than they would be at this point of the story.
- Eldritch Location: The OLD WORLD is comprised of this with a sea that has an atmosphere of outer space, a sea made of gold, a metallic sea, a sea covered in snarling maws to swallow ships, but the most bizarre is the Absurd Line covered in smiling faces and is a genuine Cloudcuckooland even by the series' standards.
- Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: Essentially while the strongest Pirates in the Grand Line are legitimately more powerful than most pirates and are genuinely very skilled- compared to the rest of the planet that consists of the Old World- even Roger himself is inferior to that of an average OLD WORLD Pirate.
- Took a Level in Badass: Not only do the Straw Hats gain new Devil Fruit powers, but each learns Haki mastery to make Shanks and his crew- Haki masters by the Grand Line standards- be seen as novices in comparison.
