My Little Chrono Triggers Are Magic
is a Fusion Fic between Chrono Trigger and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic by Pav Fiera.
Rainbow Dash attends her hometown's Millennial Summer Sun Celebration, where she meets a peculiar pink pony. When a strange portal appears during the testing of Twilight Sparkle's latest invention, and pulls their new companion inside, the two friends give chase and embark on the most important adventure in all of history.
The author completed over 20 chapters before putting the work on hiatus in 2014. There is no word on when, or even if, it will be continued, and the author hasn't been seen since April 2017.
Tropes:
- Adaptation Expansion: Several things are changed or expanded on from the original game. Notable instances include Rainbow Dash (in Crono's role) being left behind in the future to open the door while Twilight and Pinkie go with Fluttershy to turn on the power, as well as the party splitting up while the Lyrabon (the Masamune) is being reforged.
- Beware the Nice Ones: As in the show, it's a bad idea to get Fluttershy mad. She's got laser guns this time around.
- Big Eater: Rainbow Dash, due to her tendency to skip meals (see running gag below).

- In fact the only CT characters who don't get this treatment are Queen Leene (replaced by a Pinkie look-alike named Queen Diane), the Kings of Guardia, Azla (she's replaced with a human OC), Taban, (since we only know Twilight's mother's name), Chrono's mom (who seems to be a Gender Flip and Adaptation Expansion of
Rainbow Dad), and Lavos.
- Dead Fic: Hasn't been updated since 2014, and the author was last seen April 2017. In other words, don't hold your breath for this to ever be completed.
- Fourth-Wall Observer: Pinkie Pie often gives tutorials, mention the menus, and does things RPG characters do (collect loot and grind Experience Points/Tech Points), seemingly for a lark.
- Heroic BSoD: Pinkie has a bit of a bluescreen when the party finds Big Mac's corpse.
- Hulk Speak: Averted, the prehistoric ponies have AJ's Texan accent instead.
- Humans Are Bastards: The Reptites have been replaced with a tribe of humans who see ponies as "livestock."
- Lampshade Hanging: "Can you imagine, some arbitrary limit on the number of ponies able to use the Gates? That'd be daft!"
- Meaningful Name: Fluttershy got her name because Twilight noticed she's shy, and her wings often twitch.
- Medieval Prehistory: The antagonists of 65,000,000 BC are a civilization of humans with medieval technology.
- Please Wake Up: Pinkie to Big Mac in the Carrij Dome food storage chamber.
- Running Gag: Rainbow going hungry, at least for the first several chapters. Ends when the group returns to Equus Village after the first visit to the End of Time.
- Schizo Tech: As in the game, the party finds a mechanical forelimb compatible with a futuristic robot 65 million years in the past.
- Shout-Out: Twilight's CM represents the Spark of Invention.
- RD's mom's CM is a prism splitting a ray of white light into a rainbow.
- The Worm That Walks: A swarm of Parasprites in the form of a giant pony appear as the fic's answer to the Zombor boss.
- Stuka Scream: Pinkie makes the sound effect when recounting how Dash crashed into her.
- Weaponized Exhaust: Fluttershy uses rocket engines to fly, and occasionally uses them to fight with.
