- This fanfic takes place when Margo goes to school with her friends. Also, Antonio finds out that he has a stronger, evil side.
Margo and Friends
is a High School AU involving Margo's adventures at school after the events of Despicable Me 2. Margo goes to a special needs school due to the high school teacher thinking she's too smart for regular school, and she meets lots of new friends there.
Meanwhile, Antonio Perez was unfrozen by Michael J. Fox, who's now a scientist in the Despicable Me universe. However, since he... didn't follow the rules correctly, Antonio now has a Superpowered Evil Side named "Eduardo Hyde".
Margo and Friends provides examples of:
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Not counting Judy, Margo and her friends Miranda and Mia would technically count as this.
- Cute Monster Boy: Despite his mutations, Eduardo Hyde doesn't look that much different from Antonio aesthetically.
- Jekyll & Hyde: Antonio develops an evil side after being un-frozen due to Michael Fox not following the instructions carefully. As a
Genius Bonus of sorts, his alter-ego is named "Eduardo Hyde."
- Power-Upgrading Deformation: The more Antonio uses Eduardo Hyde, the more mutated he gets. Played With, as Eduardo is still somewhat of a Cute Monster Boy.
- Superpowered Evil Side: Eduardo Hyde is pretty strong as well as being pure evil. Though Antonio's Uncle Juan points out that it's probably Antonio taking after his dad, El Macho.
